You see, "Special Operations" is a term for operations that are separate from conventional warfare in some way.

This typically means things like raids, reconnaissance, and other small scale actions.

An armored crewman is almost certainly going to be involved in a large scale conventional engagement.

I guess what I mean are there special tank crews given what one could call elite training, or a classification of tank crews showing that some are of a diffrent class then others? Kind of like how their are Operaters compared to regular infantry.

There are no 'more elite than others' tankers.
There are no tank units with a special-only role that other tank units don't do , or at least try to do.
There are only tank units that have higher degrees of standards, training or equipment over their opponent units.

Back in WWII I believe heavy tank units were considered 'more elite'. Atleast by the germans, naturally they did the same sort of operations but were considered more capable, compare rangers to a normal infantry unit for example.
