i've been buying steel 762x39, 223, 9mm and fuddy5 for pre sandy vagina prices lately. 22 is out there but 20 bucks bought you a brick of 500, now all i see 325's for the same price. you're literally getting shorted

>>
>>31903319
>trump wins
Yes due to prices going down
>clinton wins
YES due to panic

I got into guns late, in 2012, was so happy with my first handgun a 226. Then sandy hook happened and no 9mm in the whole state after jan 2013. Luckily my job was good, because my plinking rounds were 50$ boxes of 20rnd hydrashok shit. And i only found maybe one or two boxes a month. I stopped shooting my 22 guns, and wasnt able to shoot them until late 2014 when 22 was back on shelves.

Last month i bought a shit ton:
500rnds 9mm 147gr HP
500rnds 45acp 230gr HP
500rnds 223 55gr FMJbt
500rnds 556 77gr match

Thought about getting some 762/308 but hardly shoot it anymore. And my favorite rifle is in 30-06 which is panic proof.

It's not even panic buying, it's people pre-panic buying that is causing shortages so then the people who are ACTUALLY prone to panic buying end up losing their shit and driving up the price because they're snapping up literally everything they can get their hands on.
>>
>>31903481
yes buy more that you could ever possibly carry or use.

I havent seen .22LR at my walmart in 3 years. the fucking faggots that work there snatch it all up, and then sell it at the gunshow.
>>
>>31903319
They are already happening.
In places they are not, stores are jacking up the prices and taking product off the shelf and hiding it in the back to create the appearance of shortage to justify the price hikes.

I bought my ammo last year in bulk. Today, I just bought 2 suppressors to get ahead of the eventual backlog of NFA items.

>>
>>31903532
Trump being elected isnt going to bring prices down. I doubt there would be decreased demand for ammo if hes elected compared to before the election.
>>
>>31905713
Are you kidding? The main reason people are gonna panic buy is because they think clinton is gonna take their guns. Sure trump may be full of shit about gun stuff, but the majority of panic buyers are worried about the dems.
>>
>>31905802
I was mostly responding to people like this
>>31903422
If there's an ammo shortage because prices are so low, then the ammo manufacturers have completely ignored supply and demand. They could (and will if it happens) charge more because they know it will sell regardless.

the only thing I'm worried about is if Clinton wins shes gonna fuck up VEPR and fuck up my whole AK collection I've got planned. I'm about to panic buy like 3 veps. Theres no way a AWB is gonna happen anytime soon. Next thing I'm worried about after that is I want one VEPR SBR'd and I need a good m92 pistol, those seem to me like they would go first if laws start getting passed.

Really though, I'm not worried at all. People need to stop being faggots and pussies. Raise good kids, vote in state and local. Don't be a fat AR nerd and dont panic buy or spread panic. Be a good American and stand strong and we will get through this dark time.
>>
>>31908002
LA Times has had a Trump lead since at least late August/early September, so I wouldn't call it last minute.
>>
>>31908022
Oh I guess I didn't explicitly state my point, I don't think an AWB will happen but Clinton is gonna start sperging out on Russia immediately and Molot gonna get sanctioned. I hope not at least but shes got a tard-on for Putin.
>>
>>31908032

Oh yeah she will definitely keep up the anti-gun executive orders. Also remember Obama pushed full force for an AWB when Sandy Hook happened just 1 month after his second election.
>>
>>31908026

LA Times is also the only poll to have Trump in a lead nationally. Even fucking Breitbarts poll had hillary up by 3 a day or two ago.
>>
>>31908075
Needless to say, if Trump wins, LA Times stands to get a lot of attention.
>>
LA Times poll is a way to track the general trend of the same 3,000 people from the beginning to the end of the race. It doesn't mean one is up or down in popular vote necessarily.

That said, it very accurately tracked 2012's race.
>>
The problem isn't a shortage as much as a dearth of affordable ammo. There's no good reason for people to buy cheap .22lr's at 800% inflated costs. Retards panic buying drives up the perceived demand, just like with gasoline.
>>
>>31908003

A weapons board doesn't mean a lack of common sense gun policy

What do you need a .50 BMG weapon for? You don't
>>
>>31908935
What do you need any guns for?

You don't.

What do you need to be able to criticize the government for?

You don't.

What do you need to have protection from search and seizure for?

You don't.

You can live just fine without these things, citizen, just like you could live without .50BMG.

Incidentally, can you prove that you NEED me not to fuck your wife? Didn't think so. Good thing we switched over to the Bill of NEEDS

>>
>>31908955

I'm only talking about .50 caliber weapons here
>>
>>31908979
Why do you need a .30 caliber weapon any more than a .50 caliber one?

You do know they put .30 caliber guns on planes right, to shoot down other planes?

No civilian needs that kind of firepower.
>>
>>31908979

Oh my god, guns with a bore five hundredths of an inch larger than a 1911!
>>
>>31908979

>>
>>31908935

>>
>>31908996
>>31909008
>le slippery slope

This is why no one takes gun owners seriously

Come back when you actually have an argument for why .50 BMG rifles should be allowed
>>
>>31908979
>A few hundreds of an inch bigger than one of the most popular pistol rounds ever
>Standard size for small recreational muzzle-loaders

What flavor of paintchips are you eating that you don't think someone could make a .49 caliber round that's just as if not more powerful?

Also before you go trying to work out some sort of scheme to base your ban-boner off of muzzle energy, it's worth asking yourself why of all the rounds in the world, you want to ban the one responsible for probably close to the fewest deaths in the United States? I haven't heard of a single death by .50BMG. Why ban the least deadly round?

You want to ban a round that's killing people ban .22LR. Of course, doing so would still be retarded, but at least it would match up with your supposed goals.
>>
>>31908979
I need it for fun.
>>
>>31909018
Do you have an argument for why they /shouldn't/ be allowed?

While there are clear trends for some fields to be better paying than others, the value of a degree is based entirely on job markets. A Women's Studies degree that lands you teaching gig is more valuable than an Engineering degree that no one needs.
>>
>>31909531

Engineering degrees will average much higher on an annual income graph than a women's studies degree. The graphs immediately below the education ones fit this.

It's always been fairly close. Keep in mind that a 10-point lead becomes a tie if one candidate gains 5 points (because those % are taken from the other).

That's why he keeps flipping states and bringing more and more of them into statistical ties. Her 6 point leads are diminishing.

D: 2,268,663 (39.6%)
I: 1,063,177 (18.6%)
Other: 138,538 (2.4%)

Absentee Ballots Returned have 72,262 more Votes for Trump, and Early Votes have 79,542 more Votes for Hillary.

Assuming 100% of Absentee ballots are turned in, which never happens, Hillary would receive 8,067 more Votes than Trump.

If Hillary manages 5,049 (+6,624, +3,854, +3,306, +722, +3,476, +13,217, +950, +481, +6,504, +9,260, +7,141) more Early Votes than Trump each day over the next 2 days, Hillary would end up with 97,707 more Votes (Absentee ballots and Early Votes combined) than Trump.

For reference, Obama had 250,000 more Votes (Absentee ballots and Early Votes combined), and yet only won Florida by 74,309 Votes (1%).
http://swampland.time.com/2012/11/05/81541/
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election_in_Florida,_2012

This means Romney pulled in 175,000 more Votes on Election Day than Obama, which surpasses Hillary's current margin.

This is also not taking into account the Independent Vote, which polls more favorably for Trump.

Current trends show Hillary will not secure a sufficient margin of the Early Vote, meaning the State of Florida will go Red on Election Day.
