I lived in Oakland for a long time. And for a while it was riot time most weekends. So here are my pro tips.
Don't do any of the rioting.
Don't get fucked up drunk. Be aware of what is going on around you.
If you see fucked up shit going on keep your head down and get out.
If you see riot police or really any cops walk away. Don't run unless you are being directly engaged.
