I am torn between the two guns. I have my non restricted and restricted licenses and I have a nearby outdoor range. I will almost exclusively use it as a range gun for fun (no competition). I was also wondering if they still make SA20 with a full stock and a handle bar? I would go for the classic AR look

Go for the mini, it's NR, you can do more stuff with it. The proprietary mags are crazy expensive in canada because Jew-ger is gay
just get a tavor.

Carry handle? Either way no, the SA20 was only ever patterned off the C7A2 so you'd need a solid stock and the elusive C7 upper.
>fun fact: original C7's were issued with tear drop forward assists and A1 pistol grips.

What are some other AR comparable to Diemaco quality (C7s and C8s are different from standard AR-15s) while still maintaining the classic AR look?

Not many these days, you'd be hunting around for a retro build on something like a Colt at that point.
Easiest thing would be getting the SA20 and then installing the rifle buffer and A2 stock. Then get a repro DIS carry handle, a plastic Diemaco BUIS, or if you're keen, an Elcan.
