what is /k/'s honest opinion of the Shield 9mm? I'm looking at getting one for carry over my fns9 but just don't know enough about it to make a good call.
Do you have a wife?
yes it's good
I have mine in .40, they're pretty inaccurate out past 25 yds but they're a great pistol for close encounters of the melanin kind

I enjoy mine, it is an excellent piece for concealed carry. It is a little snappy with the recoil but it is very light, comfortable, and fits my hands fabulously (with the longer magazine). So far rock solid reliable, put about 500 rounds through it. I think I picked it up on sale for around $375. There is a newer ported version of the SHIELD that comes with fiber optic sights, if I had to do it over again I'd spend a little more and buy that one.

It's fucking YEA or nay, not "yay", get it right goddamn.
I like mine, comfy to conceal with a decent holster and shoots okay for a gun it's size.
Overall I really like mine and my battlemate is going to buy one herself come the holidays.
it's fine
