I've got an M&P10.

It's great for the money if you don't want to put an AR10 together yourself.

I'm thinking about some mid range shooting. And if I get an AR-10 is the Armalite style or the DPMS style better?

DPMS pattern is quickly becoming the closest thing we have to an industry standard. Far better availability of parts and magazines for it than Armalite pattern.

So is the SR25 pattern decent? What would I get about 1-1.5 moa out of?

Rock River Arms LAR-8 driver here.

Pros:
At 8.5 is lbs, lighter than he Armalite SASS (was a competitor in the selection process )
You can get barrels from 16 to 24"
Sub MOA
Uses FAL magazines (both inch and mm patterns)

Cons: not parts compatible with other AR-10 platforms.
And you're supporting an Illinois company (this may or may not be objectionable)

I've had mine for about 5 yrs. it's a tack driver and God help me I love it. I call her Vera. She has EXTREME sentimental value.
