If a police officer walked into your room, he should be unable to discern anything about your personality from looking at your room.

>matress has khaki sheets.
>blanket is gray
>pillow has a white cover
>your night stand is a filing cabinet
>you have a desk lamp on the filing cabinet as well as a glass of water
>a dumb bell wait set in the corner.
>and a closet, if you dont have a closet then a dresser from ikea.

>the smell of BO, dirt, boot feet, fart, and defeat in the air.
A locker, a bunkbed and a stool.

Why do I like the sound of this
>>31872671
I bet I could sleep on one of those army cots for months.
Either they're extremely comfortable or it's just because every time I've used one I've been absolutely exhausted
>>31872734
I'm going to say exhaustion, from my personal experience.
>>31870201
Anime figures and posters.
>>31872734
I used to sleep on one when i lived in a barn, they arent much for warmth but they are pretty comfortable. I think thats because i sleep stiff on my back with my legs straight and my arms at my sides.
>>31872089
I recognize those boxes from yesterday! They had a scattergat leaning on them then though
>>31872102

Make sure it's white linoleum flooring so that it shows every fucking scuff possible
I remember reading the description of a special forces camp in Lonely War
Beer, magazines, loose rounds, knives, grenades, etc everywhere. Sound systems bought during R&R to Hong Kong. Unit flags and porn on every wall. Sandbags around everyone's beds.
>>31872734
They're shit, you were just exhausted

OP ain't SF.
And the military ain't SF either. That's a culture off on its own.

I want my house to smell like burnt gunpowder too, /k/. I like all these ideas, but I really want that "fresh off the front lines" scent of sweat and flying bullets and blood. What's the best thing to recreate this? I was thinking that if I poured my own candles, but impregnated the way with gunpowder (from cartridges I cut open with a hacksaw), it would periodically burn the gunpowder and give off that delicious "just fired" smell. Anyone ever do this before? It seems safe enough.
>>31874429
>aka making fireworks
bustin your balls.. firefight-scented candles just might work
>>31872671
I think they're pretty comfortable, but I also like sleeping on the ground, so....maybe it's just me.
I am 6'5 though, and my height isnt an issue.

The first time I had a girl come over when I lived on base, Infantry camp, I had a bunk, and a wall locker with a ps3 (2008).
She actually said "You guys live Spartans out here.."
I don't want to bore you with the kinky sex that happened after that.
>>31870201
You can randomly lay down some live anti-personnel landmine around your room for great effect.
>>31870201
you're literally doing those children's themed bedrooms with meme gear queer interior decorating instead of pokemon, minecraft or pink barbie dolls.
why is it so hard to just have tasteful painted, non-pattern walls with non-meme wood/metal furniture?
>>31875137
Get some wood artillery shell boxes. As big as they can get. Use a couple of them as your general storage. Have one with the top taken off nailed to the wall as a shelf.
>>31875137
Did not mean to reply to you.

IF you get one, pay some money for it.
Dont get a MIL-TEC brand one, had one of those out in the field once.
Woke up ass back and shoulders were against the ground because of how much the fabric stretched over night.

Move to Syria.
Jesus Christ what the fuck is wrong with you people?
Soldiers use what they are issued and make do with with they can find/procure. No soldier in their right mind would just ignore material comfort when it's readily available in a 15 minute drive. Shit, stores will even ship the furniture and send people to carry it into your house. In the military that luxury is reserved for officers (sometimes POGs of influence).
The more you strive to decorate your room as "authentic blood-and-guts military," the more fake it actually is because it's based on romanticizing the fantasy of some basement dwelling autistic neckbeard that glorifies the military.
>>31870276
Oh shit. I have some at my local store.
