Just bought a 9mm taurus milg2 and people are telling me I should've bought a 1911 because all metal. So tell me your experience with polymer handguns and if I wasted my cash or not.
Not bad cause it's polymer, probably bad because Taurus.

They work fine. 9mm has cheap, reliable ammo. You will get way more range time in than "Muh 1911" fags. You made the right choice.
I prefer metal, but I have some polymer guns.
They work fine, like almost literally every modern handgun from a reputable company.

I came here to type this exact thing.

I'd worry more about buying Taurus than polymer, they have some QC issues.

OP if its not clear by now, nobody on /k/ hates polymer
Taurus makes garbage though, so sell that thing you bought immediately. Last thing you want is the gun you rely on to fail on you or to blow up when you practice with it.

This, it's always the same shit here.

Side note, take it to the range, shoot several kinds of 9mm ammo through it, and come back to tell us how it did. If you're gonna ask us whether you did good or not, then at least put the gun through the ringer and come back to give us the full scoop on it, because we will always embrace a decent gun at a decent price.
You wouldn't download a gun would you? This plastic fad is going to blow over soon enough and we can get back to good double action steels only chambered in .45.

A man can dream, dammit.

>double action
Y tho
>>31867028
Man that is a rough-looking gun. Does it feel cheap in the hand?
>>31868947
>is it worth it
No
>is there better for same price?
Probably not
>>31869109

Get a SCCY CPX2 or a FMK G9C
much better and they're only like $50 more
