Alright /k/ lets update this shit.

Here is what I have so far, but I've hit a few hiccups

>The PPS-43 is more expensive than its worth anymore, so any suggestions?

>Can anyone think of something legitimate to go where the Lyman rifle is?

>Del-Tons are getting harder to find, any ideas for a replacement?

Other than that everything seems fine, I just price adjusted some shit and added some of my own opinions.
>>
>>31866333
show me ANYWHERE selling a draco for 500. matter fact, ake draco off the fucking list because you wont find one in the budget range of a poorfag
>>
>>31866597
Good point any suggestions for a poorfag's truck gun?
>>
>>31866698
Shotguns are pretty good as truck guns.
But you'd probably have to SBS it to make it into a great truck gun.
>>
>>31866698
Honestly the Hi-Point pistol or carbine would be a good truck gun. It's cheap and can take abuse without worrying too much about ruining it.

You could also put a combloc surplus pistol on the list as well. Maybe let the poorfags know to keep an eye out for great discounts on police trade ins (can't remember if the list mentions it).

For the PPS-43, idk. I'd just recommend a cheap pistol carbine to take it's place.

I dunno how PSAs are doing, but I would imagine they'd be a good substitute for Del-Ton. Depending on the political climate after the election, I'd make a new poorfag's list to adjust to panic buying, as well as to keep away from some price gouging websites, like Cheaper Than Dirt.

Hope that helps.
>>
>>31866777
Fuck me, I just read the top of the list.

Disregard the panic buying update comment.
>>
>>31866777
I like the police trade in things, but combloc surplus comes in harder to find calibers that sort of negate the cheap aspect.
>>
>>31866800
True. I didn't consider the ammo availability.

I know /k/ hates .40, but I have seen a lot of sales on .40 handguns and ammo. Maybe list it as a last resort option. Also let them know that .45 can get pretty expensive.
>>
>>31866758
Cobray derringer, in 45, 410 shell.
>>
just picked up a ria m206 at rural king last night for $200 the sale might still be going on not sure though it had just started when I checked.
>>
>>31866333
Going to buy a mini 14 tomorrow for $650

>>
>>31866849
How reliable is cobray though? I shot a street sweeper once and i was kinda afraid it was going to kill me.
>>
>>31866849
I never really liked derringers for practical use.
The only reason I'd ever carry one is as an extra CCW, just in case my real CC jams or blows up or something.
>>
>>31866777
I put the PSA MOE freedom carbine on there in place of the del-ton but i don't know a lot about it what should i put in the description?
>>
You can get a Marlin 795 for about the same price as the Model 60 and the 795 comes with a detachable magazine.
I would also add the Zastava M88a you can still pick one up for around 200-250.
>>
>>31866333
Put armslist under the website. I found an M9A1 for $400 once, but was too late to grab it. Just make sure to put a footnote on having them do some research on price before buying it.
>>
>>31867007
I hadn't even noticed that wasnt on there.

heres an update, still dont know enough about psa to write anything worthwhile.
>>
>>31867150
You're doing good, anon. It's much better. Hopefully you'll be able to help out some poorfags from getting raped.

I wouldn't worry too much about having little info on PSA. If I could make a recommendation, maybe mention about their build kits. I hear they're quite affordable. See if you can include the absolute bare minimum tools you need to build an AR. See if they have friends that may already have these tools that could help them out. Or, see if they can find similar tools for much cheaper prices at Harbor Freight or Home Depot instead of ordering them from Brownells.

If they cannot order a complete AR kit, perhaps you could write a small piece on just buying a complete lower. They can save up for parts later on as their budget allows.

That's really all I have at the moment. Hope it helps.
>>
>>31867225
Ill stick it in under the handguns, i dont know much about building an ar but ill learn. I am an actual poorfag, i used this as a starting point for my HD and CCW weapons but along the way saw how dated it was.
>>
>>31867273
Same. My first CCW pistol was a CZ-82, then I upgraded to a PPS.
>>
Poorfag here, buying a bersa firestorm right now, so you can add that to the list

$430 after all the bullshit
Commifornia too
>>
>>31867302
Im still carrying my bersa thunder, ill upgrade someday but first i have to pay off school
>>
>>31867303
Also, shit dood, I saw a nugget at the same store I got the firestorm at, for the same posted price, with magpouches and a bayonet
>>
>>31867312
Thunder mags work for the firestorm if you're budgeting hard.
>>
>>31867312
I carry the CZ during the colder months.

You can put the PPS Classic on the list as well. It's not bad and pretty inexpensive. Only drawback is the mags are pricey.

The Shield is another good option.

Poorfag here. The bit about Saturday night specials blowing up in your hand is utter bullshit. I've got a phoenix hp22 and I shoot it all the time. Never even jammed.

Here's a tip for poorfags who want more expensive guns.. join sportsman's guide and use the 4 pay system, that's how I got my AR without starving.

Here's the list of pros and cons I'd give for the PPS.

Pros:
>Decent trigger
>Easy to operate
>Points well
>Has changeable backstraps
>VERY easy to conceal since it's single stack

Neutrals:
>It's a paddle release. Good for lefties but some people prefer button release

Cons:
>Mags are pricey
>Even with the interchangeable backstraps some people say it doesn't fit their hand well
>Kind of small for bigger hands, but it should come with an 8 round mag that offers pinky extension
>Aftermarket is meh

a lot of these are really, really stupid

no Tisas?

no M&P Shield?

no surplus guns? no fucking mak's?!?!?!

a fucking FNS is the $500 handgun we use in the guide? are you kidding me?

THE P250???!!

this whole guide is fucking shit.

the entire pistol section should be something like
>Hi-Point 9mm - $150
>Ruger LCP - $200
>S&W SD9VE - $300
>Ruger SR9E - $320
>S&W M&P Shield 9mm - $380

SCCY? Kel-Tec? BERSA? holy shit fucking kill yourselves.

the whole shotgun section should literally just be the Maverick 88 or the 500/870. those other three are fucking garbage wastes of money and you'd be better off buying a $150 Hi-Point.

the entire rifle section should be a Marlin 60, Ruger 10/22, the Hi-Point carbine, and the the M&P 15 Sport. everything else is old and unreliable or is fucking retarded as a HD gun.

>Bryco Arms went into bankruptcy in 2003 as a result of losing a lawsuit filed in Oakland, California, which resulted in a jury award of a record $24 million judgment against it. The lawsuit stemmed from an injury to a 12-year old who was attempting to unload the 380 ACP version of the Bryco Arms Model 38 and pulled the trigger with a round still in the gun. An ensuing accidental discharge resulted in paralyzing a young boy named Brandon Maxfield. The jury ruled that the pistol had a design flaw, in that it had to have the trigger pulled to de-cock the striker after unloading the semi-automatic pistol.

Kahr PM9, PM40, and maybe the P45, but I haven't actually seen one around. All of the MA versions have thumb safeties. And their budget CT/CM series are not MA compliant.

Oh, additionally the only FN handguns approved are the FNX series, and those just got approved last week. So remove that FNS too and enjoy your stay in MA.

You are correct, the LCP isn't approved in MA. If someone wants a .380 in MA they can get a Beretta 84FS or 85FS, a Sig p238, a Sig p232, a Walther PPK(or /S), a Walther PK380, or a S&W Bodyguard.

Or a Glock 42 if you build it, but that option is going away soon too.

Find a Rohm Gmbh Model 66.
Literal 20 to 60$ revolver, comes with a cylinder for 22lr, and 22 mag. Look's like a Colt SAA, made in germany, was the only decent, or rather semi decent, hand gun this company made. Me and dad have one, we put a bit over 100 rounds through it no cleaning, no jams, and no weird malfunctions, it's loud. So, if you REALLY don't want to spend alot of money, there's that. Oh, one thing, it's single action, with an ejector rod.

A bit pricey and the ammo is a bitch to find, but if you love history it's definitely a must-have for your collection.

Though to put things in perspective, that's about the market price for SKS's right now, so perhaps if you're looking for a reliable semiauto, it's a solid alternative.

Poorfag needing advice here.

I'm utterly, horribly broke, but I want a CCW gun. The 2 cheapest available at my local cheap firearms dealer in anything bigger than .22 are the Jimenez .380 ($119) and the hipoint CF-380 ($150).

Online options are all off the table because the FFL fee would make it cost more. Yes, I am keeping an eye on used ones but the selection is not good around here.

The question is, is the Hipoint better enough than the Jimenez to justify the extra $30? And is it too bulky to be concealed? Everyone seems pretty divided on that. I'm a pretty small guy.
>>
>>31868376
Walther P22 is cheap as hell but it's also straight shit, damn near dangerous if your GF doesn't know how to handle malfunctions.
>>
>>31885947
The hipoint will not explode in your hand. They are ugly, single-stack, and big.

But they are a weapon you can certainly depend your life on.

This, I second the Turkroach pistol

Pros:
>outstanding trigger pull and reset, especially for the price
>comes with 18-round magazines, easy to find and made by Mecgar.
>Quite accurate for a 300-350 dollar gun
>Used by Turkish Law Enforcement personnel and Mad Max characters in the Levant
>VERY reliable, especially for the price. Can be chunked across the range several times without breaking.
>EASY AF to disassemble
>Very low-maintenance. Clean it once every 300 rounds and you're okay.

Cons:
>Built by Turkroaches, proceeds possibly go to support terrorism
>The Cerakoting is shit-tier. It is easily scratched away from being dropped/ thrown out of a fucking vehicle
>For the first 200 rounds, the weapon may not go fully into battery, until it is broken in.
>>
>>31888067
Also for cons

>Cannot CC, too bulky unless its winter innaNorth.
>>
>>31886339
The "big" is my hang-up. Is it too big for a small person to conceal?

>>31886867
>>31886339
Is there anything I could do to make the Jimenez not shit? Modifications or improvements? I've never worked on guns before but I'm pretty good with most work with small tools
>>
>>31888067
I have the V2 and have actually noticed the opposite with the "not going fully into battery issue" It ran great for the first 200 rounds and after that is when I started to get light primer strikes, but since that first start happening it has lessened. I'm really hoping it'll go away eventually.

>>31888085
I've been able to get away with IWB 6:30-7:00 carrying my V2 with just a tshirt and jeans, although sitting down and bending over cause printing fairly easily.
>>
>>31885947

>>
>>31889305
Am I likely to find something under $150 that's not a .22?
>>
>>31890190
Hi-Point.

Yes, they are huge
Yes, they are plastic
Yes, they are ugly
Yes, they are gangsta
Yes, the mags need tweaking

BUT,
They are made in America.
The guarantee transfers with the gun and they have a great customer service record.
They come in .380, .40, 9mm, .45
They shoot straight and are work horses.
Look up Hi-Point pistols on YouTube and all the big name channels review them and cannot get mad at them.
>>
>>31888666
they are pretty bulky. the .380 is probably the most managable one and I guess you could cc it, might be a little awkward. they are solid options though
>>
>>31890190
Most likely. You could possibly come across >>31876566
But pawn shops are very different from one another, you'll just have to go down there yourself.
>>
>>31890796
You don't have to convince me that they don't suck. I've read and watched reviews, and I won't turn my nose up at an ugly cheap gun if it's reliable.

My problem with it is that I'm afraid it's too bulky for me to conceal.

Half of /k/ doesn't know shit about firearms or is too busy spreading memes. .40 is proven to have a deeper and wider wound channel than both .45 and 9mm. It's best of both worlds, combining decent mag capacity, semi-cheap ammo, and the stoppin' powah meme that fudds claim .45 has.

My local gun store has like 10 of them, and every single one is primed to send hot shards of metal through your hand if you tried to shoot them with their worn out locks and shit timing.

Meanwhile I have never had a single issue with my Charter Arms Off-Duty. I know they've supposedly taken a dive since the 70's (when mine was made), but there's no way they're worse than 100 year old lemon-squeezer pocket grenades.

If you really, really think modern Charter Arms are straight up unsafe to fire, leave the spot blank, don't tell people to buy something that's going to take them forever to find ammo for just so that they can lose their fingers to it.
