I have chosen a Bersa 380. Plus as Concealed Carry gun.
It has a 380, round, as the name says.
A magazine capacity of 15 shots plus one round in the chamber.
It weights about 680 grs.
Does anyone own this model, has anyone used it in a self defense situtation?
What does /k/ think of it?

Better than nothing, generally reliable enough to be useful, in a caliber that is at least useful.
You could have done a lot worse.
A friend of mine carries a Bersa Thunder in .380 and loves it, and as much as I talked shit about his decision, it's never hiccuped on him during a range session or concealed carry qual.
I personally would advocate for a 9mm, but a 380 is at least useful.
I've only read about the Bersa Thunder 380.'s, it seems pretty similar in appearance to one, but with a double stack mag. If that's so, it should be reliable based on the ammo you use. I hear it only likes certain kinds, with heavier loads.
I'm personally interested in acquiring a bersa thunder in 380. too and would like to know more. I've honestly considered just buying a makarov or Pa-63 and swapping out the trigger since the prices are so similar where I am though.

All the afordable 9mm they had where full service pistols, i want something more easy to conceal, also the mag capacity should be enough to deal with a threat.

Where'd you find yours, OP? I heard they didn't even sell those in the US.

My bet is that in a firefight someone armed with a Bersa Plus is better armed than someone with a Makarov due to having the double of bullets in a fully loaded magazine.
I've carried one for years. Feels great in my hand, I often forget that I'm carrying it. For the price you can't really go wrong.

I am in Argentina, those are sold here, Bersa is the most common brand because it is national as the cheapest.

I'd agree in with that comparison, I was more comparing it to the thunder. I honestly didn't know the 380. Plus existed until now, and like an above anon said, they're not available in burgerland. those two options are the closest comparisons to one another.

How popular is the 380 round in burgerland?
