This. I'm not worried about overpenetration, and expansion is unreliable. I'd rather have a round that is that much less likely to have a FTF.
I have been toying with trying those Lehigh XP rounds, though. Given how many layers people around here wear in the winter, a bit of extra penetration capability would not be a bad thing.

I have 147 grain +P 9mm. The law enforcement stuff. If they can have it then so can I.

I just use Remington UMC Hollow Point 9mm. It's cheap so I can shoot it a lot. It feeds great and is decently accurate, and I live in an apartment, so overpenetration is something Im concerned with.

I use the 147 gr. +P for my Walther P38k build. I really prefer the 124 gr. standard pressure though and keep telling myself to just go buy some and switch.

I use 9BPLE 115 gr. +P+ in my P99 though.

Hmm. My Hi Power has never stovepiped on UMC JHP. I'll make sure to put a hundred or so more in the range to make sure though before I rely on it.

Is there any other relatively cheap Hollow Point ammo out there? I really wouldn't want to use FMJ in my apartment at all. Although I do have a pretty nice chokepoint right outside my room with a giant brick wall right outside, which is pretty much where I'd immediatly go in a HD situation.
