which is better, i prefer decocker.

Paedophile cartoons to >>>/a/ please.
I ask because while I prefer decocker, academy has a well priced P-09 but it has a safety, I think of it as a poor man's USP desu.
I don't have an opinion because this is too big to carry. I'm not a big guy.
>>31846183
safety on cz cause decocker is a bitch to detail strip compared to safety
>>31846183
Decockers are for fags so I don't know what I expected when I saw this. Guess the rumors are true about /k/ommandos.
>>31846183
I really dislike cocked and locked Cc, so a decocker is my choice.
Luckily, on the p-07/09, you can have both
>>31847210
I wouldn't CC this, its mainly a nightstandfun gun.
>>31846198
Can't carry just cocked?
>Decocker or safety?
Why not both?
Decocker only. If I have a hammer fired gun, I want it to be TDA not SAO.
I think it's still cool how with CZ's, Jerichos and HK's, you can pick between the two.

Your mother carries cocked.
on another note, what are the advantages to single action versus double action in semi autos?
>>31849731
second strike capablity for da/sa
honestly if you use a da/sa normally and never decock it its exactly like a single action gun.
>>31849787
thats a shit meme because it's not like it ever happens, and if a round wont go off the first time it's unlikely it will the second time
>>31849731
people carry DA on hammer down because its harder for the trigger to accidentally go off on the first shot, but you have a nice crisp single action trigger after the first shot or if you wish to cock it first
>>31846183
I have a decocker on both my P2000SK and P229. My preference is all. I CC my P2000SK because unlike >>31849659 over here I like wearing semi-fitted shirts to show off my physique.
P229 is .40 and makes a great nightstand/desk gun.

>people carry DA on hammer down because its harder for the trigger to accidentally go off on the first shot, but you have a nice crisp single action trigger after the first shot or if you wish to cock it first
That's why I like my P2000SK and P229, both offer the DA/SA, so I can see the hammer and know what condition it is in at all times. Plus the P2000SK has a mile long double action trigger pull. That's why I can put it in SA if I think I might have to use it, like in a sketchy area of town on a walk home or something. Otherwise, I can still draw and fire from double action just fine.

Safety is better ONLY if it's a frame safety you can rest your thumb on as part of your normal shooting grip, see 1911.
Honestly, 1911's have both the best safety and best trigger in the world, even 100 years later (assuming it's a quality 1911 too).
DA/SA which I have on my gun, is fine but it gives more opportunity for accuracy errors in what would likely be an already rushed first shot.
Then again, you can counter that argument with adrenaline or whatever...
You could also say that it's easy to just cock the DA if you have time and that you don't have to mess with a safety if you don't.
So again, I love a safety if natural shooting grip turns it off, such as resting a thumb on the 1911 frame safety.
