Got a 30 round ProMag and a 10 rd ASC for the 9mm. Haven't tried the 10, but the 30 is a fucking jamomatic, so I either need to try different mags or different buffers.

Well, all they did was change the stock and magazine, and take the blade bayonet off. Also, they rattle canned the upper handguard. So, nothing that can't be undone, but I may have to clean paint off the handguard. Downside is the original parts are all missing.

I just traded a 1940 BSA No.1 MkIII* SMLE w/ bayonet for this, a vz24 bayonet (w/scabbard+frog), and a random Carcano bayonet.
She's a 1911 Carl Gustafs Gevär m/96. Parts matching, stock disc rates the barrel as a "2", though by my inspection it looks a fair bit brighter than that. The stock's a little dinged up but in good shape, and the whole thing looks to have a really nice original finish. Somehow, I've managed to go this long without owning a Mauser, so this is my first.

How'd I do, /k/?

I didnt bubba this though, its a universal and the last owner got it like this. The scope it self probably isnt original and i doubt the upper detachable part of the scope is original.

I plan on getting a GI stock for it though and maybe a GI trigger guard.

I think you came out on top. 6.6x55 is a fantastic round that recoils very lightly, and Swedish Mausers are only getting more sought after and difficult to drive. My M96/38 is a tack driver too.

Prefinished laminate stock. Looks good this way, much cheaper than walnut. Got the idea from this.

You should do what no else has and beat it til it break and do the same thing to a milspec stock just to see.

how do you like my fox/fighting hole?
my dog just keeps digging it and im not going to fill it in. He used to have tunnel going from side of the house to the other but the flood filled it in.(this pic is on a different side).
