Anyone try the Battle Arms Development stock? I usually use my stocks collapsed because I'm tiny, my concern is how secure it is to the buffer tube.
Actual decent short lightweight stock option, or expensive meme?

Sure. It may be pricy, but it seems like exactly what you want. Do you care that it may not balance out your AR the same way anymore? You should get it if you're ok with that.
I'd strongly advise against it unless you are Squid size.
I had an Ace Entry stock and it's preposterously tiny.

5'5"
I was also looking at the MFT Minimalist stocks and just keeping it short as well, but this looked neat for an extra $15

I'm so sorry.

According to the internet it's about $70, which is quite expensive. A real stock gets as short, yet also allows full size humans to use it with adjustment. And is cheaper.
Now instead of strongly advising against it, I demand you reconsider.

what are those blue tipped bullets?

ice bullets
they freeze the target in place so you can shatter them with a melee attack

LGS has it for $60, and I can find the MFT online for about $45, but the money isn't a huge concern. Not many others would use my rifle but I suppose its still an advantage for getting a traditional stock.

My friend is about your size and has a Magpul CTR on his SBR, and it works well for him.
could the argument be made that this is a sling mount and not a buttstock in order to get around NFA rules for SBRs? has anybody tried?

Yeah, I just want something different and am sort of going for a light build. I have other ARs with magpul stuff on em, and I like the CTR and the SL K. I just wanted something different for this build I guess.

That's a sick sbr.
