Why don't I hear about these anymore??
What happened
Stopped buildin em. They're gonna make a new one soon.

Sure....
I'm still waiting on much Comanche attack heli
RIP
Well. A TBM is more important than a pseudo stealth Hind 2.0
>>31835485
You mean the rocket itself or the entire platform?
>>31835635
The missile.
It's a shame too because it had such an awesome acronym.
>tfw you will never shoot anymore ATTACK 'EMS at the enemy.
>>31835737
You're in luck.

HIMARS
You can load it onto a C130, roll it off onto the airstrip, fire, and be back in the air inside of fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes and artillery capable of destroying a grid square is ready to go. Fucking scary.
>>31835776
The trade-off of course is that it holds half as many rockets.

I wonder when they do these tests if they have to clear 40 km of airspace?
Do they launch cruise missiles?
>>31835848
No, that's BGM-109G and SSC-X-4. Both forbidden by a treaty.
>>31835875
So cruise missiles via MLRS are forbidden?
>>31835905
All ground based cruise missiles with range exceeding 500km are forbidden.
>>31835905
The treaty says that you can't have a land-based missile with range that is greater than 500 km but less than 5000 km. Ocean-based missiles and air-based missiles are both exempt due to an intentional loop-hole.

If you've ever wondered why the Iskander missile has a stated max range of exactly 500 km, now you know.
>>31835817
they are called proving grounds in US and military polygons in the rest of the world.
>>31835972
And even then the export version of Iskander has range of 299km because of MTCR bullshit (even tho everyone knows it wouldn't take much to modify it to go beyond)
