At $150 I'd buy one. At $125 I'd buy a pair. They're slim and light enough that it could be a good backup gun, probably easier to run on an ankle than a J frame.

I actually have a derringer in .357 Magnum. It's also pink. (A Bond Arms "Bond Girl"). I think Bond Arms tries to market them as some kind of ladies purse gun.

It does have some flash, blast, and kick issues. On an indoor range, the flash lights up the ceiling, the blast makes the floor shake, and the kick is every bit as bad as you can imagine. The two finger grip on a .357 isn't a very good idea either.

If the ladies are going to use this thing for personal protection, I recommend that they wear a glove with the trigger finger cut out. That's what I do. That and really good earplugs.
