if pic related was under $150 would you buy one
Maybe for the novelty, but I'd never trust my life to it
>>31822799
>Used by a near-omnicient dual wielding hacker qt
I'd buy it for thrice that amount.
>>31822799
Probably not. Derringer styled pistols are pretty fucking dumb considering all the automatic handguns that are the same size. The only thing derringer pistols are really good for are snakes and use as range toys.
Of course, I'm just some pudgy neckbeard spouting his opinion on an egyptian papyrus scroll erotica sharing website weapons board.
It's a fucking retarded gun, and after fingerfucking one it felt like cheap shit anyway.
>>31822847
Who?
For that price point yeah.
Its got a kinda Espionage last ditch weapon in a cashe look
Might make a Spy style hideaway cashe put this and a knife cash and other essentials in it for kicks and giggles
I was on fence about buying this or the zip 22. I ended up getting the 22 it's more fun.
>>31822984
I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED THIS UNTIL NOW
>>31823013
Spray every where on the gun inside and out with wd-40 before you shoot it, it misfires a lot when dry, never misfires when lubed
See the one thing early Darengers had going for them were the insane calibers they fired.
.357
.44
.45-70 gov
Having one in 9mm is just silly. If you only got two shots. I want to know only one has to hit to do the job.. Otherwise I will just take a semi-auto and fire 8 to increase my chances.
>>31822799
Yes, for $150, I'd buy one.
How much do these things run for on a normal day anyways?
>>31823156
Is a derringer in 45-70 even worth it? Seems like a huge blast and a lot of recoil. Would the powder even burn right?
Nah it would have to be 99 bucks because Hi Points are 150 bucks in a box store, and go for like 135 online.
>>31823244
Way too much, I think like $450
I'd see that for $49.99 and still not want it. It's just a bad design.
>>31823391
Holy shit. No wonder why those things never sell. I would actually consider getting one if they were closer to the price OP said
>>31822799
It'd be worth it if you could buy 4, tape two together
like in pic related and then have dual wield the dual taped 9mm shit pistols.
Yes. Just to have another cc weapon.
>>31822943
>Cashe
>Cashe
U better be memeing
>>31823288
There is actually a Derringer in 45-70. It's got one shot of that and the second is .45LC.
>>31823013
Don't buy it it's shit.
>>31823013
Welcome to the firearm community you fucking retard.
The ZIP is a piece of trash and literally violates safety doctrine just to fire it on its own. Three seconds worth of Google can help prevent full cap sperging.
>>31827052
There are actually a few derringers with usable barrel lengths (6"+) and a few target models if you can believe that.
>>31822799
only if they made it in 45lc/410 like they said they would because damn it I want to put lehigh defense rounds in it
>>31827052
>.45-70 derringer
when you absolutely positively have to kill that motherfucker in your basement, from your neighbor's basement, accept no substitutes.
>>31828617
I can't even calculate the FPS because of calculators don't go that short, it'll probably be .45 LC teir velocities with a heavier bullet.
>>31828732
penetrates like mad though, something like 28" of gel.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nU7GjOjFEM
>>31823092
nevermind i dont want it now
>>31822886
sure kid
>>31823391
they are down to $199.99. that's why I bought one.
>>31822799
CRT monitors are pretty cheap now too. Maybe I should buy some of those while I'm at it.
>>31832978
Do already have an LCP? I hope so.
At $150 I'd buy one. At $125 I'd buy a pair. They're slim and light enough that it could be a good backup gun, probably easier to run on an ankle than a J frame.
>>31827764
>MFW Pocket cannon
I didn't know I needed this up until now!
>>31827764
They used to make them with a single barrel and the bottom half was solid. You could buy them once fired for cheap too because i heard it hurt like a motherfucker.
>>31822799
spending 150 on something you could potentially make with materials from home depot for 15 and an hour of work
>>31831584
this should reignite your interest
https://youtu.be/UcwvRfGt60o?t=2m12s
>>31822799
For $150 I'd much rather buy a Hi-Point or Jiminez, they'll at least go bang more than twice.
>>31822799
Why is it even at 150 it still seems overpriced.
Sure. I'd buy ten and put them on a bandolier.
>>31822799
Fuck yeah. Seems like a fun toy to have around, but it's not justifyible for more than 150.
>>31823288
I actually have a derringer in .357 Magnum. It's also pink. (A Bond Arms "Bond Girl"). I think Bond Arms tries to market them as some kind of ladies purse gun.
It does have some flash, blast, and kick issues. On an indoor range, the flash lights up the ceiling, the blast makes the floor shake, and the kick is every bit as bad as you can imagine. The two finger grip on a .357 isn't a very good idea either.
If the ladies are going to use this thing for personal protection, I recommend that they wear a glove with the trigger finger cut out. That's what I do. That and really good earplugs.
>>31822984
Is that the only working zip 22 in existence?
