It will most likely not have the original stock. A rifle with all matching serial numbers will be worth more than one with a bunch of aftermarket parts on it.
Do you know the nationality of the SKS? This is important. Is it Chinese? Yugo? Russian even?

Think of it like this. It's your very first gun. It's not like your spending over a grand on it. Sks rifles are pretty well received and I'm sure you will have a LOT of fun shooting it considering you nearly pissed yourself talking on the phone about it. That's a good thing. I was shaking when I bought my first rifle. Buy it and go have some fun anon
