Are caps corrosive at all? Because I kind of want to try this but can't be assed to clean my gun tonight.

Leaving it until tomorrow won't hurt.
>>31816496
Historicaly yes. But modern ones are not.

Modern caps aren't. Older caps may be, but they'd have to be pretty old. We've been making non-corrosive primers since before WW2- most commercial primers afterwards are non-corrosive.
How much would it hurt to be shot by a nerf dart from a BP (at a safe range)?
Also, the darts don't get ripped apart when fired? I'd imagine the foam and rubber would be melted/disintegrated by the gases.

One of my friends were recently worried about the fact that his father had figured out paintballs fit well down a 12g shell.
I expect prototype loadings are in the works.

The paintballs go splat too easily, I've tried it.
Paintball guns are pretty much the best way to shoot paintballs, mostly because of effective volume of fire.

OP here, it melts a little after a couple shots so eventually I just ripped the head off and rammed it down. Tomorrow I'm going to let my friend shoot me with it, wish me luck
