What do you want your AR to do?
Is there any specific aesthetic you'd prefer?
Does your budget include ammunition and magazines?
Do you want to buy a complete rifle or would you be ok building one?

>I have to buy a complete rifle since Im not 21.

Would this be a good rifle?
S&W M&P Sport II...and you'd have extra cash leftover for any accessories you'd want for it.Great weapon for the money. Not a Daniel Defense, etc but a great value.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with it. I don't know anything about the Nixon optic. As the other Anon said, if you want a carbine length AR, then go with S&William M&P II

Would you suggest that a first time AR owner shoot 70+ grain ammo? 1:8 or 1:7 is nice for combat rounds, but if you just want to poke holes in paper then 55gr is totally serviceable.
here's a good choice:

it's pretty no frills, the mid-length gas system gives you a longer sight radius than a carbine gas system would everything is mil-spec. From here you can modify to suit your desires. My recommendation for your first addition would be either a sling or an optic
