Knowing how SIG works - it's probably a matter of just calling them, telling them what parts you need, and getting them in the mail pronto.

Actual mcx owner here. Day 1 with the gun was failure to eject every other round. All sorts of related issues. Send it back to Sig because I paid way to much to be this sad.

1 month later (to the day) I have it back they replaced the barrel because 'chambered slightly too small'. Guess they didn't test this one with two rounds. Head innawoods. 300 rounds with zero failures. Get home break down and clean. Zero issues.

One time shooting since then, no issues, getting more accurate (not the gun, me).

Take away, SIG probably lacks quality control in manufacturing. Buyer beware. But, shit the MCX is fun when it works.

No, there have been changes to the MCX since its RELEASE. They're on gen 3 now, because they insisted on pushing the rifle to market before it was thoroughly tested and ready. This is the product of relying on your customers to beta test your shitty designs. The MCX has been an equal shit show with the promised adjustable gas system only being implemented on late model rifles. Aside from Sig being in bed with the Met literally no one else is buying them for good reason. It's only a matter of time now before word of this latest catastrophic self destructing failure gets out and what's left of their commercial base evaporates completely.

MCX owner here. I guarantee you he made the same mistake I made I did at one point. The plastic cup thing makes it easy to accidentally not place the rod back in to the slot. When I did this, feeling like I locked it in the cup, I reassembled the gun. I reassembled it and racked it a couple times. After several times of racking it, since I was dry firing, I noticed the MCX got sluggish and ended up seezing up. I disassembled it and found the rod wasn't in the slot and the spring had been jammed and bent up. That's probably what happened to Lord Autismo. Pic related is the correct placement of the rod in the slot.

It's obviously because of those blue stickers that he stuck on the receiver. It made the receiver to heat up unevenly and bend. The extrem solar radiation exacerbated this problem (SIG's are made for Swiss alpine conditions). Anyway, the receiver was bent and the spring assembly ended up touching it. The friction finally disabled the spring. I also would like to point out, that wrapping black tape around the stock blocks the heat dissipation and holding the rifle like the shooter did bends the rifle even more. 200% the shooter's fault.
