Biggest letdowns for you with regard to weapons

My SKS, despite being my favorite of all my rifles, does a funky live-round stovepipe occasionally towards the end of a mag. They were supposed to be the most reliable AND cheap (bought it about 3 years ago), thus the point of buying one. I've heard bending the feed lips in helps with this but I don't wanna dick with it and fuck it up

Armslist. I just saw a motherfucker list a dpms oracle for $1100. That is an outlying example of absurd pricing, but I didn't see as a single item I would call even an okay deal. I also learned about 80% Glock lowers, than found out it costs as much if not more than just buying the damn thing

This and finding out bullets are rather small. Like, it's great people figured out how to kill people and things in a way that isn't bullshit to carry around all day but I genuinely thought most rifle calibers were the size of Martini Henry cases and get a little disappointed every time.

There is so fucking much that i want. And given the next election, theres a HUGE fucking chance that i may not be ever to get most of them.

I did however, manage to put my 308 battle rifle on layaway before the panic buying starts. And have ammo being shipped right now for it. So theres always that Plus side.

The NFA is the biggest fucking letdown of all time. As if any of the items on it, make 1 bit of difference.

Honestly, one of my biggest lets downs is the NFA. Not because of fun autos, but because of suppressors. I seriously think that Suppressors would be cheaper than fuck if it wasnt for the fucking NFA.

Such a glorious Idea, especially for SHT. Seriously though, if they actually went all-out with the various calibre sets and everything, it'd be the best damn thing to have stashed away for the HABBENING.

It was to great an idea for its time though.

Don't forget the ACR was unreliable and inaccurate too.

And the MSR is literally just an R700 in a chassis, you needed a barrel vise and barrel wrench to change the barrel and were still limited to rounds that fit in the original action/mags.

It's light, it's accurate

But it's 9mm so anything beyond 100 yds is out of the question.

I bought it before I bought my AR.

A lot of people like these things but it's not for me. Realized I like rifles and pistols but not pistol caliber carbines.

An 80% kit for the fire control unit of the sig p320/p250 would make a lot more sense, than a 80% polymer glock frame.

First time i tried a scoped rifle. I shot revolvers my entire life and was quite good with them. First shot with a scoped rifle I was seriously back at square 1.

My 91/30. I was expecting it to be ok however it has quite a few problems; 1.) The front sight drifts...for no reason, 2.) Despite the bolt being on of the smoothest on a Mosin I have ever used it locks up after repeated shots, 3.) The bore will never come clean. Ever. 4.) I bought it before knowing everything to look for on a Mosin and both my front and rear sight are canted about 3-4 degrees to the right. 5.) In theme with no.4 I didn't know to look at the last 1/8th of an inch of rifling on mine and its gone.

Despite all of this I will never sell it because it was my first fun. Also I just got a 1944 M39 VKT which should fill my nugget needs for a while.
