What's the consensus on kimber rifles?? Thinking about getting one in 6.5 creedmoor next year.
Seriously, is everyone poor or something?

They have had a good rep in the past.

Kimber pistols catch a lot of shit for low quality and some people will argue against the brand because of it. These people are what we call fucking morons because the rifles are completely unrelated to the pistols in production.
That said, you should clarify what you're looking for. I'm sure their hunting rifles are nice enough and they seem to be at a decent price, but the more "tactical" rifles like what you posted in pic are upwards of $2000 and at that point I think I'd recommend an FN SPR instead, or maybe see if having a gunsmith build a barreled action for you is a possibility.

Not always, by a long shot.
The history of the rifles is spotty at best. Previous owners were only interested in pretty rifles and making lots of money to support their playboy lifestyle, accuracy be damned.

I've heard nothing but good.
I want an Adirondack myself, but there's other stuff I'm gonna buy first.

>Seriously, is everyone poor or something?
modern scoped marksman rifles are among the most boring firearms on earth
*pow*
>yep, another hole in a really small piece of paper.
*pow*
>oh boy, that small hole is really close to the other one
>this was a wise investment of $2,000

The 22LR Kimber I shot was a great rifle but it was 10+ years ago. Generally got great groups with ht.
