Got a question /k/. Since I'm not good at physics could anyone tell me if it's best to have the load on a club centred or spread out?

Centered at the top, more weight on the end means more force from a hit. Also, that's not a club. This, is a club.
>>
>>31800643
considering you dont have alot of weight i would say centered but for the most part they should be top heavy.

Op, I think it depends. A balanceder weapon allows you to place follow up swings more quicker. A more ender heavier weapon is more bludgeonier.

Nah family, that club is good for one swing. The impact would shake the concrete loose after that.

/k/ needs flags to help filter out the no gun brits. Also top heavy is obviously best for muh leverage.

Add a very large washer as a handguard above your thumb to help parry incoming attacks.

You want the weight at the attacking tip, basically the part your hitting with.

Stick weapons kinda work on leverage principles and arcs and physics shit.

Basically the more weight you have and the faster you have it going, the more force itll have on impact.

Invest in some cheap lead fishing weights, melt them over a kitchen stove in a pan you dont want anymore (this pan becomes a designated lead melting pan for future projects, have the rangehood on windows and doors open lead oxide is not to be fucked with, alternatively, do it outside with a respirator) and pour it into the end of the pipe that youve somehow sealed. Adds weight internally.

drive some bolts through the business end of the pipe before you pour the lead to hold it in place long term.

Also, pad the handle because repeated hard shock impact on your hands sucks.

It's really not lad. Just don't be:

a) a criminal
b) autistic/mental
c) poor

and you can have funs.
>>
>>31801930
Could work.
But it was very heavy in the configuration pictured, and I wouldn't want to add too much weight.
But the design is all modular and tacticool, so it would be easy to try it and see how it felt.

>>31801938
You need more mass in the top end.
Although I'm not sure a padlock is the best way to achieve it.

Table legs best melee weapon ever. Even more if you add some spikes or barbed wire. Specially good to crack some heads in the trenches.
>>
Better to have the mass concentrated at the end.

>Assuming that the total mass is the same no matter how it is distributed:
>And the angular velocity at which you can swing it is also independent of the mass:
>Then concentrating the mass at the end of the handle gives it a greater angular moment of inerta:
>And a greater amount of angular momentum:
>And a greater amount of damage on impact.

Lead weights would be better. Its really dense and high toughness, meaning it will deform but won't break off into chunks. So long as you secure it properly.
>>
just make a lead weighted club or a blackjack you nigger

mass concentrated on end.
also if you are using a club then have a shield with you, or else you can't parry. anything that is very end heavy (axe, club, etc) and isn't really long (like a spear or daneaxe) has to be used with a shield or you have no defence.

also if you're a bong just get a crossbow tbqh. NOT MY PICTURE but you get the idea
>>
>>31800643
u want to pile the chain around itself and up the top, since it's pressure, not force that causes things to fail.
Pressure(Pascals) = Force(Newtons) / Area(square metres)
So to increase the pressure, you can add more force or reduce area the will be striking. This is how axes work. So if you can wrap the chain into a kind of edge, it will be more effective

Sorry for the bad shot on it.

If you want to use it as a big stabby thing, carve some finger groves/handle into it.

If you want to make it a whacky thing, grind the point off and repeat above.

>>
>>31804604
why didn't people of the middle ages just use black smithing tools and farm masonry equipment as weapons instead of maces?
A good design made specific for melee should always be better than something where the melee is a secondary feature.
>>
>>31804686
Just use bat or hockey tape for a handle, make it swell at the end and even put some finger grooves or a lanyard on it so it won't slip from your hand on a swing

>>31800643
Just get a hammer, a rip hammer is better than a claw hammer and about as common but ball peens and rock picks would probably be better. A machete or tomahawk are also cheap and pretty easy to get, basically anything from a hardware store is going to be more effective than that, even a lock on the end of the chain would work better

how long has it been?
was it poured in the winter or exposed to near freezing temps within a day of it being poured?

could be bad mud, concrete sellers will usually take a core sample and refund some money if it is bad.
>>
>>31804929
Haven't you ever gotten pierced before??
>>
>>31803967
Could be a few things. When you say crack, do you mean spalling off the top, or physical cracks going through the slab?

Spalls mean poor mud/workmanship/freezing during cure. Could also be from road salts if the floor isn't sealed.

Cracks mean poor base, possible frost heave (unlikely), or poor relief joints.

If you're spalling you can patch it, Mapai Quickpatch is a good one. If it's cracked, fill the cracks with backer rod then Sikaflex. 1csl. Overfill and shave flush to make it look pretty, or slightly underfill.

Also ask a concrete and concrete accessories salesman anything.
