What do you guys wear for general everyday footwear?

What is a good hiking shoe/boot for an urban environment?

Looking more so for opinions of owners of the footwear they shill, rather then theoretical testimony from internet forum spec pushers.

Is that an all year commitment you have there?

No need for sarcasm, friend.

Danner mountain lights.

The extra money goes into being worn 5 days a week for 3 years, being reliably waterproof in that time even though I ride a motorcycle in Oregon rain, and still looking good enough to wear out to the bar after a shine.

Heavy as cement block shoes tho...

Salomon low cut boots for spring and fall.

I wear ASOLO Fugitives during the cold times. Wore these innaAfhgahanasitan and they hold up great to constant abuse in the snow.

I wear Inv8 shoes for the gym and running. Stupid name, great shoe.
>>
Honestly, I've been wearing some palladium boots for about a year now, and they've turned out really well. Cheap, light, dries fast, but they're just stiff canvas and rubber, so I wouldn't recommend them if you really need to protect your feet
>>
urban environment? there's only two choices:

Sperg Lord: Ultra Combat Elite Spec-Ops v3. They're totally what Delta/Seals/Mossad/Spetznas use. All the websites selling them say so!

Normal Human: Sturdy, comfortable shoes that let you do what your task is WITHOUT standing out. If you're in construction, steel toe leather boots. If you work in an office, dress shoes.

This is why the normies want to take away your guns, anon. You don't even try to be close to normal.

Gonna piggyback on this thread. Starting work at a warehouse soon, what would be good boots for being on my feet all day on a concrete floor? I've got a pair of Danner lookouts and the weatherproof Redwing irish setters. The Danners are super comfy but I'm afraid might be a bit heavy to lug around all day. The Irish setters are light but not near as comfy. Should I just use the Danners and get used to lugging around the weight or what? New boots?
>>
>>31797742
They're the best backpacking boots I've worn yet. Seem like overkill for street use though. The north face hedgehogs, Salomon XA pro, Merrel All out, or Vasque Grand Traverse are better every day shoes IMO
>>
>>31797738
Fucking this, Vans are a pretty good all around urban footwear choice. You want the off the walls, not the faggy fat skater ones that middle schoolers show off.

I wear Danner Acadia's for work (LEO) and generally my 5.11 taclite 6" for going to stores etc. If i'm really lazy, it's my running shoes.
>>
>>31798573
Those ones i showed you will be alot light than your danners as A. The soles are made off of rubber and B. Unlined leather meaning you dont have the syn lining inside. Again tho try them out and the red wing guys will let you know what you're working with
>>
Unlaced desert combat boots, or New Balances.

I Second the MOABS

Just Got Some Mid High Boots yesterday after my previous pair of Moab ventilators finally wore out after about a year and 4 months of moderate to heavy use

While there are higher end options available that might last even longer. Its really hard to beat the performance and comfort for 80$

(80$ Is what I was able to find them for, Look around for deals and never pay MSRP for them though)

Also If you get the low cut MOABS they blend in well and look like tennis shoes unlike certain boots that are heavy and don't hide your power level as much.

My everyday shoes are similar to these, but they're Eccos with gore-tex, so they're waterproof. It doesn't rain much or snow at all where I live, so that's plenty of shoe all year.

Then I have Red Wing Iron Rangers for shop use, and Lowas for innawoods.

Regular sneakers in the summer, wannabe operator boots in the winter.

I used to have the Magnum Spiders with a single zipper on the side. Convenient for easy removal but it made weird folds and tended to dig into my leg. The velcro flap supposed keep the zipper handle from moving around was to small and didn't stick right, so it protruded to the side and caused wear on my pants.

I foolishly wore them for running around innawoods once, they were never the same.

So more recently I replaced them with GK Fields, no zipper. Pretty good.
You drop a hundred on this kind of boots but they are comfy as fuck from the start, no breaking in needed. Strong but light.
Overkill for what I use them for but eh, that's one of my few pleasures.

And then I started working in factories and shit, had to deal with absolutely crappy safety shoes and it conviced me to drop some more cash on a pair of Magnum Lynx. The safety parts are plastic or something, which makes them non magnetic but manly a lot lighter than regular safety shoes. So far I'm pretty satisfied with them, I can alk and drive okay and I get to feel operator while working shit jobs.
>>
I'm flat footed so I just grab that 1 boot the store carries with no arch. Currently using Walmart 20 dollars boots for work. They last a year, in on second pair.
Use cowboy boots from cavenders for innawoods. Good for exploring woods for hunting spots. Awful for long distance.
