Alright /k/,

I seriously cannot decide between the two.
Halp.

>Or suggest pisstul under $400
>>
>>31791147
but you already have both.
>>
Mak.
>>
>>31791157
In my heart yes.

Physically no.
>>
>>31791147
I'd say Mak if you don't already have a gun that shoots 7.62x25 since Mak ammo is cheaper and has better self defense rounds. I'm personally thinking about going Tokarev because dat early Soviet style and I already have a CZ52 so I can share ammo and may start reloading that round because $18 a box average.
>>
>>31791147
Mak, Tokarevs are nice, but it's just a shitty 1911 that shoots more expensive bullets.
>>
You can get both under $300. I still see Yugo M57 Toks for 199.99.

I bought one a few years ago when the ammo was cheap. Its an alright gun. Nothing special about it really.

A friend of mine has a .380 Makarov, and that is a very nice gun. Smooth action and quite accurate too.
>>
the mak. alternatively, the cz82 is a nice option.
>>
>>31791306
I agree with the ammo thing, until I found this.

on a related topic, is there a comprehensive list of East Bloc sidearms and their derivatives? I'd like to make a small collection beyond the basic Maks and Toks.
>>
>>31791338
Surprised they still have that. I'd get some but I don't really shoot pistols enough and would rather spend that much on 7.62x39 or 54r.

I really wish I would have started earlier when all the surplus was cheaper. Back when x25 and 54r ammo was plentiful and mosins, cz52s, and tokarevs could be had for less than $100 each.

"attracts a magnet"

Good luck finding an indoor range to let you shoot that stuff
>>
What's the best of those that are C&R?
>>
>>31793174
okay so go to an outdoor range

both
-have aesthetics
-are easily concealable
-commie guns
-not too expensive ammo (but mak is way better)
-extremely reliable (no issues with the TT-33 but I've heard the makarov would be better in this regard

if you want it cheaper, get the makarov, and if you like how the tokarev looks, get that

get both if you're not poor, the ammo for both are reasonable and the actual guns (at least used to be) very cheap.
>>
>>31791147
Either.
Just don't get it in their default ammo.
Get them in 9para. Way cheaper to feed.
>>
>>31794150
9x18 is onoy marginally more expensive than 9mm, and I've heard about problems in 9mm tokarevs and makarovs

pick one

>>31794653
How is it? I saw it and I thought best of both worlds.
>>
>>31791147
in my opinion, the makarov. cheaper and easier to find ammo, plus dickgrips meme.
>>
I've shot both and I ended up getting a Tok. Nothin against he Mak, it's a neat little pistol and ammo is a lot easier and cheaper to get, but I found it to be rather abusive in it's recoil. Not painful, but uncomfortable.

I love my TTC, it shoots well and feels great in the hand. Very little felt recoil and a nice flat shooter.
>>
>>31791338
Careful with this stuff. Its actually surplus ppsh ammo, so its basically +P for a Tok.
>>
For CC or Cheeki Breeki, go Makarov. For plinking prolly Tokarev, but good luck finding ammo for cheap
>>
>>31791147
tokarev
I use one as my car gun
I trust it to go through at least 2 layers of auto glass
