Individually, the US army soldier is nothing special. But as an organization, it is a beast. No other country currently have the logistics and mobey to deploy boots on the ground anywhere around the globe at a moments notice like the US Army. Logistics wins wars.

the soldiers are treated more like prisoners than soldiers. They feed the special ops guys better than the pogs who get to eat craptastic GMO food that has been banned in over 30 countries.

Meanwhile Russia has banned both homosexuality and GMOS and their military is improving on a regular basis.

Our military has a lot of good soldiers and very capable people but at a core level there is so much corruption and lack of common sense that we see countries like Russia beginning to catch up to us.

Generally speaking, the US army is effective do to sheer volume and tech. Because they have so much tech and available man power, the individual quality of each soldier doesn't need to be as high to still be effective.

The food served in the military, like public school food, is lowest bidder wins. A large percentage of the oils and grains are GMO in origin and they have been proven to cause gut inflammation, allergies, and so on. They are banned in 30+ countries now, for a reason.

Too many wars. Units are exhausted and depleted of veterans. Lower standards to keep enough fresh meat in the grinder.

Mostly clueless leadership when it comes to physical training and recovering from injury. Soldiers get hurt and stay hurt.

Too much time spent doing death by power point.

Not enough range time.

Not enough time training the POGs field craft.

Camaraderie is dead. Promotion system and general leadership environment encourages Every Man For Himself. Only the shared suffering of deployment can bring Camaraderie to units.

Toxic leadership. Dicks get ahead and the good guys quit for private life.
