India didn't fight any Western force. Your source also doesn't mention any weapons being transferred. However weapons were given to Pakistan at the time but most of the weaponry were to be smuggled into Afghanistan to undermine the Soviets and no serious hardware was ever given to the either, just small arms and supplies.
