War is Hell & Captured weapons.
"As a thanks for NOT demonstrating a brotherhood of arms!"

Not really war is hell, but Last Floridan Confederate soldier goes for a ride.
I guess the amount of hell he saw over the many years counts - from he Civil War to the impending Nuclear doom.
>US Medic with German NCO with leg nearly blown off.
>When you are released half a decade after the war and come home crippled, wearing your old uniform to find nothing and nobody and not even the locals want anything to do with you.
If you look into his, you can see his soul attempting to flee.
>>31772386
That's a guy who was a little kid during the civil war, dumbshit. Don't spit everything you hear on reddit.
>>31772432
Pardon the intrusive gear queer question, but what kinda boots are those the medic is wearing? Or do the straps belong to some kind of abbreviated gator?
>>31772485
+1 you sure showed me. It's like children wouldn't be deployed as powder monkeys and musicians, and never see the hell of that war first hand.
>>31772351
>US troops getting to use MG42s
That must've been fun.
>>31772504
He was literally a brat who did nothing in the war. He claimed to have served in the Alabama infantry but the only records of him put him as born in 1859. The confederate navy didn't employ 5 year-old powder monkies.

>>31772501
M1943 double buckle boots, my guess.
>>31772667
I always enjoyed this photo. At first it's all "Hurr durr, Tommy so fat!", but when you stop and process what you're looking at you realize the sergeant would very likely tear the kraut limb from limb if they had it out.
>>31772709
Well durr, he has like twice the mass on Jerry
>>31772634
And there were a bunch of horses at the end.
>>31772709
All the Kraut would have to do is duck and weave like the boxing training he had been taught and Limey Chris Farley would be out of breath.
>>31772422
Rename this to "Battlefield 1: We wuz caught n' shiieeeet"
>>31772782
Battlefield 2: "I dindu nuffin cracker"

>standard American artillery strike caller.
>>31772414
'oh shit a camera, see we're the good guys i swear'
>>31772628
Why did US air force hate horses that much?
>>31772283
CAN DO
JUNIOR?
>>31772855
Natural enemy of the airplane.
>>31772855
It's the krauts' fault for not coming up with a better way to transport supplies
>>31772395
Note the transitional Gewehr 98s too.

>Be young west german boy
>father died fighting the Russians, just you left to look after your grandparents
>Grandad tells you to take the horse, cart and whats left of their merge funds to try and buy some food
>hear faint buzzing in the distance
>danke amerikan
>My country has fallen apart, but at least I get to keep policing with my new friends.
>yfw the Germans shot down so many B-17's they could sift through the wrecks and rebuild their own.
>>31772441
That's the saddest thing I've seen in a while
>>31772515
>>31772432
These always make me smile. Just a little.
Reminds me of a story where a US soldier captured a german officer. He decided to let him go after days of holding him. The officer thanked him, and gave him his pistol. It was after the war that he discover that the luger had never been fired.
As for our jap friend here, atleast they didnt make him walk the plank.
>>31772441
any more stories like this? what were the soldiers treated like after the war?
>>31773898
It took quite a while for Wehrmacht vets to get recognition after the war and recieved a basic pension eventually. Waffen-SS men were declared an illegal organization and so the government didn't have to pay them at all, which if why HIAG was created.
Do the winter war and the continuation war count as ww2 or are they separate conflicts?
>>31772283
I've seen U505 in Chicago.
Bretty güd.
>>31772283
Man, he's as freaky looking as his thought processes, no wonder he was in shit all the time.
>>31774221
No not this shit.
>>31774237
I just have the one.
>"An SS Stabsscharführer is questioned by an Armia Krajowa NCO shortly after the capitulation of the German held PAST Building. Note the "Lightning" machine pistol and captured Stahlhelm. Captured Stahlhelms, often adorned with red and white brassards to prevent friendly fire, became symbols of the uprising, as each Stahlhelm worn by an insurgent represented a killed German occupier that it was taken off of. Date: August 20th, 1944."
anymore pics of sad stuff or soldiers from both sides being friendly?
>>31772543
What a man.
I don't have a photo to share, but a short story. After the war the Fritz's left a bunch of staff cars, guns, explosives and even a couple tanks near my village. Of course as you can imagine, a bunch of Norwegian farmers don't consider the value these goods would get. Tanks were stripped down and used as tractors. And I shit you not, grenades were used to hunt ducks and deer. My grandfather has a mauser wich he knows was used to execute an old woman. (He also did some minor sabotage during the war, but that's another story)
>>31776848
were are these traktors now?
lmao shut the fuck up CARL xD
does anyone here have a library membership at any of the colleges on this log on list?

Regular tractors worked better, so I think they just stopped using them after a while. My friend is from a farm which used these "pazertractors" he has some scrapmetal from it.

I don't think it could be worth something. You wouldn't be able to distinguish it from an old pan.
Thinking about WW2 always makes me remember how much the american are forever the scum of the earth.
>>31772386
fucking racist scum should have been beaten to death.
>>31772441
unless you post a source, you're no better than the people who post the "and the whole bus clapped" stories on tumbler.
