I don't like WASRs, a C39V2 retails for 750 new, I got mine on armslist for 710, might be able to get a better deal now that they have a newer version.


WASR $550-650 is a bottom of the barrel AK, but it's cheap and has all standard parts.
NPAP $550-650 is slightly better in quality in my opinion but uses nonstandard furniture
Yugo M70 underfolder $700 has high quality parts but can't mount optics and is stuck with underfolding stock
RAS47 650-700 is an American made AK, dumb niggers on 4Chan complain about them, but clearly they've never owned one, they're quite nice.
C39V2 700-750 is an American made AK with a thick milled receiver, same as RAS but milled instead of stamped receiver.

I have a WASR, 2 NPAPs, 1 M70, 1 C39V2, and an M64 RPK. My C39V2 is my favorite but you can save a few dollars and have a lighter rifle by getting an RAS47, so I most recommend it.
