Does or has anybody ever owns/ed ones of these? I was thinking of maybe getting one as a poorfag CC gun. I am 6'0 and weigh 235 lbs so I don't think concealing it would be an issue for me. I was just curious if there are any glaring issues I might run into that I am unaware of being new to Concealed Carry. If not this I was thinking of maybe a used Kel Tec P11 since they are in the same price bracket. Any tips/insight on these two funs or on CC'ing in general would be welcome.

My friend CC's one in a sticky holster. His runs well, but keep in mind you must flip the safety to the upward position to disengage it, which is a little awkward.

I have one, I have only put 50 or so rounds through it, because I was having feeding issues. Maybe I was limp wristing it, or it needed a break in.. but I lost interest in it, considering my other guns have had no issues and ran 100% from out of the box.

In short, it is doable, but quality may be hit or miss. I'd recommend a keltek instead

Thanks anon. In all honesty I was probably gonna carry it with an empty chamber and just rack it when I need it and ignoring the safety all together. Given that you said yours hasn't run all that well concerns me.

first you should lose wieght so you have self worth defending.
>>
>>31767748
keep an eye on that retaining chain link thing on the other side of the gun

after a few hundred rounds or so itll sometimes pop off, also had feeding problems. which is a shame because I really wanted to like the gun. traded it for a nice little p64

there's a CC thread still up if you want to get a jumping off point for some pocket guns.

for the price, look into CDI Sales on gunbroker and buy one of his compact 3rd gen S&W, like a 6904/6906 for $300 + shipping + FFL

>wieght

I will when your retarded ass can spell.

>>31769244
Good to know about the retainer. I was considering a P64 but I kinda want to stick with 9mm para so I am not buying a bunch of different ammo types.

>>31769289
I love CDI sales. I was drooling over the steel framed Jerichos he had.

this pin on mine tried to come loose after 300 rounds or so.

if you plan on edc'ing it I'd recommend breaking the magazine safety and swapping out the hammer for one from an m213/m57/tt-33/ttc

>>31770549
I thought these things were pretty reliable being based off of the Tokarev and all
>>

yeah, I got lucky me ex's uncle was sitting on a bunch of old 9x18 from his soviet bloc days. and its not like a new box of hollowpoints every six months is gunna break the bank for me. It's a snappy little gun but I like it alot.

I cc mine when I have the chance. So far, no issues with mine, but I did have one before that had the fall apart issue due to the slide release link coming loose. This one was from EAA rockledge, while the one that fell apart was from CAI. Grips were slightly different and the slide is not loose like the CAI one was. Just try the gun out before you buy it, and if it feels like it'll fall apart, pass on it. You may also wanna look into SCCY cpx2 for a great cc gun in your price range.

true rokarev guide rod is the one on the bottom.
as for the hammer, the true tok has a half-cock notch on the hammer, the m88a and m70 don't.

to the anon who was asking a few days ago in the "cheap guns" thread:
i've put a set of m57 (9 round mag) grip panels on an m213 (8 round mag), there was a fair bit of modification involved and i'm not 100% satisfied.
i'll probably get a set of 1911 panels and try to fit them
>>
They aren't drop safe. Don't carry one in the chamber or you'll probably bump the slide against a table and take your leg off.
>>
>>31767748
the only thing i can say is this gun is NOT drop safe

>>31770549
Thanks anon. Honestly sounds like this guns more work than what its worth based on what I am looking for out of it.

When I carry my M70 I carry condition 2.5. Empty chamber, hammer down, safety off, mag in and loaded.
>>
>>31771015
don't get me wrong, i love my m88a, and the m213/m70 is more of a project gun at this point.

i'd trust my life to it in a pinch, but there's a reason why I carry an LCP
