Body guard as in what? Guarding some dune coon in a war zone? Then no they might not be the best for that.

However stateside being a body guard for for a celebrity or higher business authority works just as well if not better than male body guards simply due to subtly. They can blend more easily into the crowed and draw less attention than the jacked 50 year old former SAS sergeant with a shit that is too big in order conceal his carry and radio.
