I got this gun from some dude deciding it was trash and threw it away at the landfill. What the fuck is it tho?
OP
OP.
your new fleshlight
>>31762819
I wish.
>>31762810
do you know what caliber it is chambered in?
>>31762831
no but it does say Nitro and Germany on it
Either a sported VZ 24, m48, or kar98
>>31762814
Looks like a Mauser action.
>>31762831
>>31762832
8mm mauser,
>>31762834
It's a kar
also where the fuck are the rear sights?
>>31762835
it says 1719 on alot of it
It's a Mauser Shotgun, converted after WWI for sale on the commercial market. Worth at most about $200.
>>31762839
this i think
>>31762845
Is it safe to shoot? it is very wobbly
>>31762845
>>31762848
forgot to say, it's called a GEHA.
Don't try to shoot it, most are considered unsafe.
I own one, and to me it doesn't look safe to shoot modern loads as the bolt is missing all but one lug on the rear of the bolt
>>31762855
Anyone know anything about what kind of rifle This is ?
>>31762855
What is that?
>>31762846
disgusting
Someone ruined that gun, if it had been in good condition it would have been worth a lot of money OP
What about this one? Is it safe? it is not as wobbly and it says its a .22
>>31762871
You can thank the treaty of Versailles for this monstrosity.
>>31762873
Probably something like an CZ 455.
Check the damn thing if it's safe dumbass
Some other dude awhile ago dropped these off. Are they worth anything? they are cool
>>31762881
Its safe but I do not know were the safety is
>>31762882
nigger look at them
They ain't worth shit
>>31762889
I did not know. I have had people that throw away silver dolors just because they dont know what they are so I wanna know what i have here.
If any of you get the chance to work at a dump it is amazing. You get so much free shit.
>>31762882
Sharpen er up, chop away trees/bushes/annoying neighbors
Also got some military coats. They smell musty and got someones name on one of them. I could not find anything when i looked up military uniforms
>>31762905
do you work at a dump or something
>>31762920
Yes at its very much fun. Also found a shovel that is nice and compact Im assuming its military because the dude just seemed to only drop of army stuff.
There were 2 swiss army watches with Marlboro logos ear plugs and binoculars
also alot of random patches and shit in bullet box
there is Russian on this bag of pills or something
Also idk if this is a stupid question but the coats have a helicopter on them but he also has airborne patches. I though airborne jumped out of planes, not fly helicopters.
Anyone gonna help? I post anime will that help?
plz
>>31762923
German Army shovel. This thing is so great. Heavy af though.
>>31762978
sweet it seems nice and i dont think its hat heavy tho
>>31762917
American BDU Jacket, no more than 30 years old. The unit ID is 2nd Infantry Division. Griffith was a Sergeant.
>>31762810
Its a Mauser geha 12 gauge shotgun
>>31762996
Thank you. I think he was from Alaska cuz he had a patch with the big dipper. Also the card pack i got is really cool it helps you identify enemy tanks
>>31763002
did the big dipper patch also have an arrow and the Southern Cross on it? If so, Griffith was out in Korea during his time with 2ID.
some cool goggles, they have been used but the clear one looks brand new
IS he dead? there was a bag with his name and a card that says KIA. Also a rules of engagement card. HIs mos is MB20 and is in Unit Co. A 2/3 INF E5
Also there is dog tags with tape? is he trying to hide what they what or what?
>>31762984
Yes the weight is ok given that it's the sturdiest folding shovel you can imagine. We chopped little trees with it in bivouac and used it as a mattock and I had mine for twelve years.
>>31763024
Maybe he taped it to silence them
>>31763007
no it did not but I found this weird patch that is blue, shaped like a shield and has a bunch of stars on its borders
>>31762917
Bottom one is a BDU in M81 Woodland. Looks like homeboy was air assault trained.
Top one is Jungle Fatigue in ERDL. If you post the tags we can probably determine when it was made.
>>31763024
taped together so they don't jingle together at night.
>>31763017
What are the check boxes on the KIA card? Also, MB20 isn't an MOS
>>31763030
maybe but i have no clue >>31763037
>>31762845
>curved bolt
>WW1
It's a Kar98, still right about the shotgun conversion. Those were popular conversions after WW2 as well.
>>31763045 No check boxes and sorry it said mos/ssi if that means anything>>31763037
other one
>>31763047
1968. Vietnam issue. If it's larger than a medium it's worth some money.
>>31763056
Hard to tell for that one. Can't read any of the numbers well.
Looks to be 1997?
>>31763058
Tag at the top is way to faded to tell. Also this shirt
>>31763017
Our man served sometime after 2001, though:
>On 15 March 2001, 2-3rd Infantry was reactivated with a new generation of soldiers as a part of the 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division at Fort Lewis, Washington. 2-3rd Infantry operated at forefront of Army Transformation, as the lead battalion in the interim brigade combat team concept. At the time its total authorized strength was 691 personnel.

2/3 was in Africa in the early 00s.
>>31763063
This is cool. It feels like invading privacy but also like a easter egg hunt. Also this, I think cold weather? its more bulky than the others and I have the liner in the truck
>>31763011
These are 70s-90s issue dust goggles.
Pretty good ones I might add, I got a pair and use them to work under my Jeep.
Also I got this bag. Its big and nicely build definite gonna use it
>>31763071
Yep that's a M65 field jacket. The thing under it looks to be its liner but I'm not 100% sure cuz I can't see it.
M65s are cozy tier. My old man had one when he was in the USAF and I'd steal it on cold mornings for school.
Found another shirt this is the back. front has batwing skull with parachute saying 3-502 INF strike and kill
Found what i bleave to be m16 cleaning kits
>>31763079
should I drink this?
Dont have it with me at the time but he had some sort of blue rope thingy. It was kinda like a paracord bracelet but it was lot bigger and had loose strings
>>31763127
"Blue paracord thing" looks like this?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infantry_Blue_Cord
>>31762935>>31763011
>63
>>31763017
why would he take this shit to the dump? why not just throw in a trash can? or sell? did the guy look young? maybe the military stuff was his dads and he doesnt give a shitabout it
>>31763164
es it looked like that>>31763170 he looked to be in his mid 40s. He just pulled up, asked to dump and started throwing boxes. Maybe he wanted to forget?
>>31763178
well nice finds man. any knives?
>>31762882
If you get no answers here, just take them to a guy to get them evaluated.
>>31762917
>>31762923
>>31762931
>>31762873
Why are /k/ommandos' beds so fucking nasty?
>>31763272
because all their money was spent on
>>31762891
percussion cap with a swing out chamber
that's really neat and might be worth something
>>31762863
Some rolling block action? Good luck with finding the issuing country tho
>>31763053
It's not a Kar98, it's a Gew98 that has had the bolt curved at the factory that made them into shotguns.
It's a GEHA shotgun, converted shortly after WWI.
>>31762882
Get some steel wool and brush the one on top, if it has loads of pot marks (i.e the metal is not smooth under the rust) then eh its probably ruined
the bottom one probably only needs a good sharpening
then again its hard to tell how well the steel is holding up from a picture
>>31762889
Looks aint everything faggot the bottom one probably got alot of years left on it
