It's a pretty faithful 94 clone as far as I know. lots of plastic parts and other cheap shit of course. It's mossberg after all.

Generally, they've got a meh to poor reputation and small parts breakage/QC issues seem to come up a fair amount. not like ring of fire tier but more then you'd expect out of someone like ruger.
That said, there's a lot of people out there who enjoy their mossberg rifles and customer service isn't the worst in the world.
they supposedly have a pretty good warranty, though certainly less forgiving then hi point or ruger.

All and all, if I found one cheap I'd buy it, definitely over an import. Personally though, I'd just look for a used winnie or marlin.
I've also heard marlin unfucked themselves and are putting out alright levers again. Unfortunately, they still have that ugly, shitty freedom group finish.
