What armor systems are viable for incendiary rounds & shotgun spreads close quarters?
>>31760113
there is no such thing as choke bore and literally what the fuck are you asking
>>31760113
Level 3A. That's all it fucking takes bud.
You might be on fire after the fact. Take the vest off if that happens.

For incendiary /rifle/ rounds you need whatever level is appropriate for the caliber in question (3 or 4)

You do not have the knowledge or comprehension that I am looking for sadly.

Most body armor is fire proof as just a factor of design. If you are talking about extinguishing yourself, you could build something custom.
The best advice would be getting a flash proof hood like you find on battleships and wearing and goggles to protect your face.

I have the knowledge of what materials. What I should have said is what can I expect from cotton vs polyester when exposed to volatile incendiaries>>31760151 Is it possible for a rifle round to melt through a poly plate or silicon carbide in this layout?
>>31760188
I already have a flame retardant F.R.A.G neck gaiter that's good up to 600 fps threats problem is it insulates to much in the summer. https://www.amazon.com/fighter-design-f-r-a-g-protection-gaiter/dp/b00j0hocdk 30$ for it and it works well.

Cotton = on fire
Polyester = on fire and melts to skin
Most incendiary rounds are a quick flash, though, so if your materiel aren't overly flammable already they'll likely just get toasted.

Just curious, who the hell is going to be shooting incendiary rounds at you?

Look into https://www.grainger.com/category/flame-resistant-and-arc-flash-clothing/safety/ecatalog/N-h5t
Not the most tactical stuff but this should probably be your bottom most layer

Hope pic related helps.
Also most plate carrier tend to be fire retardant.
As for your clothing... well just make sure to pat yourself really quickly. Or carry around a small fire extinguisher. Or a water bottle.

Thank you for reaffirming what My notes tell me.

Not true incendiary rds per say think more along the lines of poorfag molotovs or DIY incendiary IEDS. My Thermal overlay HUD would have a hard time picking up anything that's not in my 60 degree FOV but situational awareness and human error happens.>>31760638
I am aware of the constraints of NIJ 06 IIIA ratings.

found what I needed here https://www.anchortex.com/work-wear-protective-apparel/flame-resistant-base-layer
GSA contractors may not sell the best but when it comes to flame resistant materials the abundance of FR base layers is excellent.

Glad to hear it faggot
kevlar and mylar are fire-resistant. Any type of plates in a kevlar carrier will do.
