You know that you are a criminal, right? The byzantine nature of the legal system makes even innocuous, absurd things illegal.

There's a horse theft law on the books in a number of states (including mine) that it is OFFICIALLY illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your back pocket.

And that's just a single, arbitrary example. There are tons of laws of similar applicability on the books. I guarantee that, at some point in your life, you have broken a law. and probably you weren't punished for it. So you you believe that you still deserve punishment?

Like I said, I'm not terribly sympathetic to criminals. When I break the law, I know the risks. So do they. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Better to play it safe.

But just because you're a "criminal" doesn't mean you've done wrong or violated good public morality. Only fascists think that way.
