Bought my son a Ruger American Rimfire 22LR Compact for his 4th birthday in May.

It will be his first gun, first time shooting a gun and he will take that rifles first shot.

Its actually pretty cool. Decent itlrons with a 10/22 rear and an optic front. Drilled and tapped with a weaver rail. Free floated and adjustable trigger.

People suggested a cricket .22 but I don't care for the quality and I want him to enjoy his rifle ad an adult.

Did I make a good choice?

Just bought a core lower yesterday. Every hole wasn't deburred, my trigger guard holes are too small, and bolt catch channel is too narrow to function. Have to drill that shit out somehow without destroying the lower.

bought this for $450 today, Colt Detective Special, 1972 model. has a bit of rust or it's just really tarnished.. there's some pitting too. it feels durable and.solid though and the double action is very smooth . the trigger pull is lighter than I expected too, lighter than most revolvers ive handled. gonna clean it up over the weekend and go to the range Sunday. can't wait to shoot it

Nice score, im jealous. Ive been wanting a vepr 12 or saiga off and on now for a bit, but I just don't have the funds at the moment. Spent them all on a recently acquired MAK-90. Got it from a fellow Kommando for $730 shipped. Came with 5 mags and only had about 200 rnds through it, if that.

I love the CZ-75 pattern and they feel really nice when I hold them. I think Glocks are ugly as fuck and I just hate the way they feel in my hand. They're decent guns from a mechanical and price standpoint, they just leave me cold. If I'm going to spend over $500 on a gun it had damn well better be something I enjoy holding and shooting.

I picked the Match Elite in particular because it's got a nicer trigger and is much sturdier for hotter rounds than either the regular Witness or a G20 can take a steady diet of. This is important because it's going to be my OC piece for the woods and I want to be able to load it up with Buffalo Bore or other ridiculous shit.
