You work a 40 hour week at 7.25, that's around 1200 dollars a month.
Rent is probably going to be around the 500 dollar range, food is going to be around 50 dollars a week, that's 700 down.
For transport, you either take public transit for 60-70 a month and add a lot of time to daily transport, or have a car and spend a hundred dollars on gas. Now you need to factor in the cost of household essentials, clothes, health insurance(that's a funny joke), communication bills. Probably have around 100-200 left at this point as an emergency/entertainment/self investment fund.
That sounds doable, if miserable, and having absolutely no room for any sort of major emergency.
