Only real problem with it that I see, though I'm sure that, depending on how well this run sells, the mid-length will become a factory standard 6920 version in the future, probably another factory Magpul version unless they bring rail production in house or maybe even new OEM models.
MSRP is decent, they'll probably get to $1,100-200 before long.
Would be nice if Colt would catch up with every other big name and start CHFing their barrels though.

Why bother. Half your customers are going to put an optic on the top, and the other half are just goimg to bitch that you didn't put their chosen brand on it.
Better to just pass the savings onto the customer. (Which Colt prrobably did not do.)

Its a Niche market what can I say.
Some people like the way milspec rifles look and don't mind the price.
I bought the FN M16A4 Clone and I don't regret it.
All my other AR receivers are milspec too, I can't stand the way some of the newer ones look.
