My girlfriends dad has an M1 Carbine made by the U.S. Postal Meter that he might let me buy.
It's been re barreled and I think has a new bolt, however it has the original parts as well.
So it's a shooter that can still hold its value if you just toss on the original parts.
He also has a bunch of different mags and the Ka-bar bayonet for it.

considering that PCs can have tens of thousands of games, and near 100% backwards compatability, far better markets, and can last decades with parts switched out, I don't think arguing about a few specific games not on the PC has any weight. and if you buy new consoles, you spend more money than the average PC owner (I've spent $100 on a new graphics card, and that's it, in the past 6-7 years)

I assume we will get the same guns plus a little more from the last one. It would be cool to have like a realistic multiplayer where you can only carry a sidearm and rifle/shotgun and 1 accessory (dynamite, throwing knife, etc). I hated how your character can pull out different shotguns, rifles, and revolvers out of their ass and just go nuts. Only carry what your character can carry.

R* should focus on different calibers such as 22lr and experiment with it.

Sort of. I tried going mountain man but there is no beaver trapping. There are no subsistence activities. If you walk around animals and people are just trying to murder you constantly and somehow it makes the game world feel a bit empty. I sunk a ton of time into RDR and loved it but I'm just looking for more depth and atmosphere in the sequel. Also read that book.

There's really no reason for them not to release on PC at the same time. It's not like GTAV where the 360 and PS3 had vastly different architectures compared to PC. The XBone and PS4 are close enough that it shouldn't take nearly as much work. The only reason they'd do this is so they can release it 1.5 years later with better graphics/resolution on PC to jew everyone out of their money a second time.
