I don't know why, but I like to call ultra compact rifles submachine guns
>>31719419

>Added lever delay just to make things more German and complicated even though simple blowback would have worked fine

Skinnier magazines look better?
They weren't hit as hard by the more recent miles of rails tactical bullshit?
Smaller, fun size guns that you can still fire from the shoulder look good?

>Added lever delay
Roller delay.
>even though simple blowback would have worked fine
Ends up with a lighter bolt though so you have less weight moving back and forth.

I always wondered why did we dropped the Colt MARS? I know the Poos are doing the same exact thing but applying it into their PDWs with the MINSAS. Which so far, seems like the same exact copy of the MARs cartridge but with a Poo name

Probably wasn't worth it to introduce a new gun that lacked parts commonality and required a new type of ammunition when it was only ~1/2 lb lighter than a MK18 and only 2-3 inches shorter (depending on if the stock was extended or collapsed).
According to this:

The only contract Colt was able to get wasn't for a large enough amount of guns for them to consider it worth it to produce the gun.
