Best plan of action is to get a ton of iodine, all the food/water/ammo you can carry on your back, and a decent bicycle. locate the nearest landmark city to you and simulate a tzar bomb being dropped on it. Plan a route on a traditional physical map to escape the radiation zone. Rely on freeways because the emp will kill all the cars. Then locate the nearest city outside of the radiation zone and plan on stopping there and waiting for government aid/medical attention. If you're within the tzar fireblast you're pretty much fucked.
