What is the consensus on the Jericho series? Is it GOAT?
>>
held one at the shop just the other day, felt pretty comfy. thinking of getting one now.
>>
>>31702044
I'm asking because I see a lot of people complaining about the QC of CZ handguns
>>
>>31702112
They are pretty good. Reliability is on par with anything else made nowadays. It is all in how you care for it and the loads you run in it. If it is comfy for you, get it. Don't accept a substitute because the memesters are set on something. If the Jericho is what you want then get it. I gave heard good things.

Built like a cinderblock.

But also the weight of a cinderblock.

What is up with the respirator?
>>
>>31701934

I have a full size polymer in 9mm that I love, it's comfy and shoots well. Always a popular one when at the range.
>>
>>31702264
no one cared who he was till he put it on
>>
>>31702264
He takes care of his body. Indoor ranges with poor ventilation = you breath bad stuff in.
>>
>>31702325
well that's a good reason but what the hell kind of a range doesn't have fans roaring?
>>
>>31702224

His motions look absurdly exaggerated.
>>
Is there a compact of this that doesn't have a slide mounted safety/decocker?
>>
>>31701934
Looks good.
Feels good.
Makes the shooter feel good.
Makes the shooting victim feel bad.

What else is there to say?
>>
>>31701934
They're great. Slide safety for your inner weeb, and IWBs are a bit hard to get used to at first.
>>
>>31702360
A military / police range in Isreal, apparently.

>>31702367
He's a very good Isreali style shooter. This is what good mechanics look like.
>>
You wouod be supporting the Jews though.
>>
Are these still being produced? Or are they strictly on the used market now.
>>
>>31702458
Polymer frames are being made. All the oldschool 941s are used milsurp.
>>
>>31702496
Oh, I wasn't aware they made polymer framed Jericho's. It's always a gun I've admired from a distance.
>>
>>31702525
Yee, full size and compact iirc. Pretty good from what I hear.
>>
>>31702550
I'll have to look into them, thanks for answering my questions.
>>
>>31701934
They're good guns, well made, reliable, and accurate. They weigh a fucking ton though and the slide mounted safeties are shit (not an issue if you find one with a frame mounted safety).

Personally I'd go with a CZ instead because of the weight but if that doesn't bug you go for the Jericho, you won't be disappointed.
>>
>>31702360
Ranges that aren't OSHA compliant. Remember, if they ban unjacketed rounds, you can threaten them with a call to OSHA since their requirements are filtration able to accommodate jacketed and unjacketed lead ammo
>>
>>31702525
They make both polymer and steel frame 941s
>>
You can become the cowboy bebop

People bitch about little things about CZs.
Pic related, my Cz
People say to not buy a CZ because of a tooling mark.
It's ridiculous

Of it doesn't affect the accuracy or longevity of a gun, I don't care.
>>
>>31701934
steel frame with frame mounted safety is pretty great. Slide safety is trash, polymer frame is meh.
>>
>>31703733
they stopped branding them baby deagles and also discontinued the 41ae model which justified it.
>>
>>31702211
So shitty and if it heats up after getting wet it'll blow up in your face?
>>
>>31703492
Ajax22/proto ordinance did just that. Full on spike 941

I bought one of the BudsGunShop $260 Israeli police trade-in Jerichos in "fair" condition. It actually showed up pretty good for "fair" condition but the Buds Guns morons sent me one that was modified to SAO instead of the DA/SA I ordered. This turned out to be a good thing, because the trigger is almost perfection. I already owned CZs but this Jericho has easily become my favorite range gun after about 800 rounds, though I wouldn't carry it because I've had a handful of FTEs and I prefer to carry decocker model CZs. Some new springs will likely clean up the ejection issues, though.
>>
>>31702112
To be clear, you know the Jericho is not made by CZ, correct? Your comment leaves some room for interpretation.

The Jericho is a CZ75 clone, but most of the parts are made by Tanfoglio and assembled by IWI
>>
>>31702270
Isnt getting Israel rid of its 9mm polymer Jerichos because they are prone to crack? Glock and Sig Sauer are now suppplying.
>>
>>31701934
No, it's not the BEST.

However holy fuck is it amazing.
I have a surplus norail one made in the early 90's, and that shit is the most ergonomic shit I've ever held (second only to the Luger)

I strongly urge you to obtain one.

Still though, CZs are perfectly fine and I have had precisely zero problems with my CZ-82. I do however wish they used a normal CZ-75 style safety on them.
>>
>>31702308
If I pulled it off, would they die?
>>
>>31707707
It'd be extremely disheartening

I've always been fan of Jerichos. I recently picked up a few clones that impressed me as well.... The Tristar or Cannik clones are just as solid. I bought 2 T-120s that came in the cerakote tan finish.that are now my favorite to shoot. They came with 2 19rnd mec-gar mags and I can confirm the 32rnd promag cz mags work as well. Fun guns for sure...

Correction, he's working on it. I've been talking to him and helping him model/mold for a set of these grips.

Our thought process is that they'll probably be cast black resin when they're gtg, rather than aluminum or steel.

Those weren't modified to SAO. SAO was a factory option for Israeli made Jerichos, though it was never an option for the ones on the American market, so the only way they ended up in the US was a surplus.

t. guy that also bought a surplus Jericho
>>

Good to know, I wondered why there were so many. God is it a nice trigger to have.
