The US has a lot more precision guided "smart bombs"

It seems to be partly down to doctrinal differences, partly down to money, and partly down to the US developing PGMs first.

General Purpose bombs like the MK83 and MK84 can be fitted with strakes and tail kits to allow a small level of aerodynamics

Very accurate depending on what is being dropped on what.

NATO drops guided weapons almost exclusively.

I haven't seen Russia drop anything guided.

Russia has the capacity for smart munitions, but they still rely on dumb bombs because they're broke fucks and don't have a ton of experience using the systems in real war.

The US put JDAMs through car windows in 1990 and has two decades of experience sending them through windows and into sandpeople foxholes.
