Yeah and they are a super unique cut too. The blouses are like a flight jacket style. This is the only unit that has them so it's basically impossible for them to give them up. Nice pattern and coloration, I think this one is actually Russian made. Interestingly the size stamp was in normal metric, not the Soviet 50-3 method.

My god I've been struck by such an idea. I was musing at how blue dispersion pleases me a lot because it's like a modern version of the French bleu horizon and it occurred to me I could work with that. There's an image I have somewhere of an SS trooper as if WW2 had carried on in semi-modern equipment. I want to mock up a WW1 French version. imagine an Adrian helmet with night vision slapped on it. Post war rifle (they're cheaper than a lebel so points for expediency). Modern boots with the puttees. Ooo you could have some real fun with this idea. I've got the beginnings of a Napoleonic British version in my head too.
