Bruh, I'm from Ohio and I'm surprised you left off North Peak Brewing.

It pains me to say that Michigan has more better craft breweries than Ohio. That said, Jackie O's is by far my favorite brewery of all and they're from here.

Seriously though, It's great being right next to Michigan because there are a lot of great beers coming out of there and luckily we're able to get a lot of them here in north east Ohio.

My nigga. I just got my SOCOM barrel in. It's non-pinned because I'd like to swap muzzle devices.
Anyway, I wanted to ask: what sling mounting system do you have? Is it a side-mount swivel?

And more generally, I have the stock oval M4 handguards and I'm not a fan, I'm thinking of replacing them with:

The internet has enough info for beginners, no need to buy books (which are mostly opinionated trash, so basically the same as the internet, except they cost you money).

Get the largest stainless pot (with a reasonably thick bottom) that your stove will allow you to maintain a rolling boil in. Pick between a glass carboy or PE fermentation vessels. Get a stainless water cooler, airlock, some sanitizer, preferably chlorine-free (US brewers swear by, StarSan), a bottle brush and something to stir and aerate the wort with. Some tubing, kitchen scales and a bottle capper. A racking wand and a hydrometer are nice to have, but not absolutely necessary.

Yeah, it's a side swivel mount. If you can find a good deal on a KAC RAS rail, do it. Also, you might be able to find a KAC RAS blem for pretty cheap too.

I'd take those over what you're looking at. I like my DD SLiM on my other AR, but go RAS for an M4.

I'd recommend going with the B5 SOPMOD instead of the bravo, but that's just me. I understand wanting lighter weight, but it will balance it out a bit better.

If you're looking at ACOG, you can't go wrong with a TA01 or TA31, but 2bh I have my MRO on the M4 right now lol.

Try again bb. I think do a super light base coa or three, then do your darker colors. If it's still too light, dust it just barely. Up close you won't really be able to tell a difference, but once you back off you'll be able to notice a shift in the overall tone of the colors.

I'm in the market for a 20" rifle. Which of the following seems like the best option?

1. Colt AR-15 A4

2. FN-15 A4

3. BCM 20" upper on really any lower.

4. FN-15 M-16 Military Collector Series

Honestly I'm looking pretty hard at the FN-15 M-16 collector model strictly because it comes with rails already and a decent rear sight. I'd rather have the Knights rear sight but that's ok the MATech will work unless I really wanted to swap it out.

I know 20" barrels and quad rails aren't fashionable right now but I just like how they shoot, handle and look. How is the build quality of FN as a whole? Would I be a ton better off with BCM?

So I really really like my BCM BFH middy upper. I decided on doing this instead of building both my upper AND my lower.

I am fine with this, and its accompanying Magpul handguard. But I hear that FFing your barrel is the hot spicy new meme these days, and if the conditions are right I'd go free-float.

I don't want to have to knock pins out of my AR's upper and fit a new gas block, since I like this upper and don't want to risk fucking it up. On the other hand there isn't such thing as a 16 inch middy BFH upper by BCM that has a low profile gas block and isn't already fitted with some meme rail that I don't want. At least I don't think there is.

Is my only option to build an upper from scratch?
