2nd best revolver cartridge ever made, 2nd only to .38 Special
>>31652541
Get it
>>31652541
if youre referring to the cartridge...
well-established with a plethora of different loads
if youre referring to the gun...
good lookin, ive heard that the vaqueros are quite accurate also
pic is .357 also
>>31652541
would rather use 10mm due to capacity
>>31652541
10/10 revolver cartridge, also you can use .38 special out of it which is cheap and low recoiling, perfect for training.
>>31652750
It was my first pistol I ever bought
>>31652780
>heard that the vaqueros are quite accurate also
Mine tends to shoot a bit low with magnum rounds
>>31652831
I just load light loads into my spent .357 casings
>>31652541
>>31653041
speedy 125gr loads are a blast
...recoil 'umph'
...quick feedback from the target
...magnum-size POW!
probably my favorite fun load
...

its american as fuck

i considered a blued, 357 vaquero before i pulled the trigger on this blackhawk.. the 4.6" vaquero would feel so good to oc on muh hip all day
and, again, that 125gr magnum-load recoil feels so good in a single-action
>>31653333
>its american as fuck
that old west style is infectious
>>31652541
Perfect for automatics.
>>31652541
Do it google.
>>31652546
This, it's a perfect medium of power and control, any average dude can learn to handle the recoil easily, and it still offers good power.
It also makes a quite good light rifle round, giving decent power with low recoil and a very low price.
And of course the ability to use .38

38+6= .44mag.
Fixed that for ya.
>>31652541
Likely one of the best all around revolver cartridges made.
I want to get a revolver/lever combo and I debate between 357 and 45 LC.

Already the 10th time I watched the video.
God that thing looks amazing.
I own three guns in .357 and I love them all.
686-3 4"
Henry Big Boy
Coonan Classic
The Coonan is my favorite of the three.
>>31654220
HELL YEAH
Here ya go. 3rd pic I have of a Coonan. Starting to run out.

Not really a tough decision.
45LC if you want good ballistics and the ability to also shoot .410 shot/slugs.
.357 Mag if you want great ballistics and the ability to use your ammo with a semi auto handgun.
>>31653971
pic is a blackhawk
but i know what you mean

>>31654347
I don't think .410 will fit in a .45 Colt chamber
>>31654448
Desert Eagle
Coonan
>>31654448
Look at all the other comments in this thread.
If you can't be fucked to do that then here you go:
Coonan .357 magnum
LAR Grizzly
Desert Eagle

I just don't see the advantage over .44 magnum. .44 is controllable, can fit in the same full size frames, and hits harder. .357 isn't really an ideal carry round anyway, so what niche does it still fill that .44 doesn't fill just as well if not better?

Not as controllable as .357
heavy, expensive
>>31654613
I mean, unless you're talking about a 3" or less .44 (at that point, why?), it's very damn controllable. I'm disappointed by target loads when shooting, and usually go for Winchester white tail and black bear white box or Cor-Bon high loads. And even then, one good shot of a .44 is good for griz, so there shouldn't really be a problem.
Wheel guns are kind of outdated for carry pieces, so the niche use of tactical self defense is kind of moot.
