>>31648684
CBУ (SVU) OЦ-03
CBУ-A (SVU-A) OЦ-03A
One is semi only and the A designation designates Automatic function .
>>31648760
Aha, cool.
54r is best 7.62.
Also where did all the Wolf bimetal 148gr go??
>>31649729
Also muh bubbad nugger
Redpill me on why I want an autonugget.
>>31649802
because glorious Soviet DAKKA, and/or you're a Syrup and can't have an SVD.
>>31649743
Why do I want to copy you...
>>31649812
>because you're a Syrup
That's a new one.
Id like to get a finn nugget. From what ive seen most of the ones on gunbroker are going for 5-600 and were made for the finnish civil defense?
Is that a decent price for them or should i keep looking. Also did any finn have a bent bolt, its just a look i like better than the straight bolt handle.
>>31649872
Finn nuggets are more expensive for a reason.
Superior build quality, and far less were ever made. They are the true Cadillac models of Nuggets. 500 bucks ain't a bad deal this day and age though, especially if you score a real M39 version.
Very few had bent bolts, but I've seen a couple "sniper" variants before.

Thanks man. Anything i should keep my eyes open for? A couple of them say made by sako for SKY And they look like theyve got some crest on the stock. I think i saw one still in wax paper but that mightve been an enfield. Il probably buy one once im back stateside. Do they take bayonets like a regular mosin?
Holy fuck that stock is amazing. What type of wood is it and what did you do to make it so nice
>>31649872
classic has em for 399
>>31650090
>Anything i should keep my eyes open for?
The M39 "Pystykorva" rifles are the only Finn-nuggets that can safely fire the Russian 7.62x54R ammo. The older versions (M27 and M28) should only be fed Finnish 7.62x53R ammo.
>Do they take bayonets like a regular mosin?
They have their own, blade-like bayonets. Dunno if the "rat tails" even attach properly.
>What type of wood is it and what did you do to make it so nice
Not my gun, sorry.
Many M39 look quite like it . Not as dark red usually though.
>>31650090
you will probably never find an M39 bayonet. They are so rare and usually cost more than the rifle itself
The reproductions alone are like $200
>>31650090
the stocks were made with birch and a lot of them had a very beautiful "tiger stripe" or "flame" burling pattern. It's natural to the wood
>>31648760
>7.62x54r in fully automatic
My dick
>>31648650
I don't like when guns are more plastic than metal
>tfw fixed the sights on my hexnugget
>tfw finally have sling, stripper clips, bayonet, and cleaning kit to go with it
>and some sandbags
It's range week, motherfucker.
Also 54r Vepr or SKS if I already own a Vepr-12?
>>31650176
not really that special,
but still hot.
>>31650206
if you do not already have 7.62x39 AK, and don't want to get one, then SKS.
I prefer .308 Veprs myself. Easier to find ammo, and dem double-stack mags.

I appreciate all the advice guys. Im planning on starting a milsurp collection and might as well start it like any other /k/ommando.
I noticed on a lot the only matching serial numbers are the bolt and reciever. The magazine plate and rearsight block are stamped differently. Is this a common thing or a red flag? From what ove read a lot were built on ex russian recievers so maybe that has something to do with it.
>>31650269
to be honest, all the Finn nuggets are old war surplus, and thus might've come overseas in mixed shape. A number-accurate M39 would cost a real fortune in right hands, and be a real gem.
That being said, Finns did convert many captured ruskie guns into their own mil-specs, often stamping their own serials on top of the old Soviet ones.
If the receiver, bolt and barrel are matching, it's already breddy gud deal, IMO.
>>31650302
Alright man, i appreciate the help. One last question, before i start emailing people. Theres 3 that im looking at, all are in more or less the same shape
Ones a 1942 conversion on a 96 tula reciever
2nd is a 1944 on an 96 sestroretsk
And 3rd has no dates but has a pretty stock and sling.
Assuming i could get all 3 for the same price which should i go for. I plan on shooting it. Hopefully hit steel at 1000m with some practice
>>31650242
As an Australian, the though of any full sized caliber being fired at fully automatic anywhere remotely near me gives me an erection.
>tfw own finn m91/30 and 'murica m91
>>31650373
sestroretsk
Anyone wanna buy an OD green archangel stock for a nugget, comes with an extra ten rounder, $150.
Sold the nugget and surp
>>31650495
with pleasure!
... but do you ship to EU?
>>31649729
stuff is imported in batches
>>31649802

>>31649872
shid i paid like $200 for mine
>>31650176
one of these days ima get a PKM I swear to god
Muh vepr
Stained the stock myself
Posp 4-8x
I wish someone would make a 10rd mag that wasnt so fucking long like a double stack that fed into the single stack or css spec would make metal 5rd mags.
>>31650853
Anyone here ever had trouble shootig 7.62x54R out of an M28-30?
>>31650936
Most people are too afraid to even try, because of horror stories.
A certain old-ass Finnfag reservist even tried to spook me about using ruskie surplus steelcore ammo in my ruskie M44, because "they will weld shut yer barrel!!!"
>>31650936
dont do it
>>31649802
You actually don't. I got one for $800 a few years back and thought it was cool as fuck. I didn't quite realize the deal I got but whatever. It's in the past.
Anyway, I figured out that it needed to be cleaned and the gas system. Dear god. I can see why they considered it a drawback of the SVT. That motherfucking piston. Holy fuck, the nut was on so tight that it stripped my wrench. Then I took a pen torch to the goddamn piston to break it loose. Nothing. There was so much goddamn carbon in there, I had to put it in a vice, take a fucking blowtorch to it 10 seconds at a time, and use a 3 foot bar with a 15 pound weight on it until it finally broke free after about 5 rounds with the fucking torch. Fuck that system.
Somebody post the nugget with the Danzig marking
>>31650667
I imagine the shipping cost would be as much as the stock, yeah?
