What kind of weapons related things would you guys like to have machines. The sky is pretty much the limit. My boss says if I come up with product ideas to sell, I can start producing. I was thinking about making some QD mounts for popular red dots. Any suggestions?

There was a thread earlier about weird gun concepts, maybe some fun ideas there. Of course I doubt that many of them are economically a good idea, like toggle-action machine pistols and shotguns, but some ideas were pretty cool. One that actually came up twice was the idea of a spring-loaded stock that would pop out when you flicked a lever near the safety.
Other ideas include
>DP-12 in .410
>10mm carbines and SBRs
>.410 AR-15
>pan fed 12 gauge
>.45-70 all the actions
>suppressed straight pull sbr AR in 300 blk
Those are ideas I just pulled from the thread, but there's more.
For me personally?
>.556 replica of Sta52 from Killzone
>US made Lahti L-35s
>belt fed 12 gauge like pic related, maybe made as an AR upper and lower
You're not gonna make many firearm parts without heat treating equipment, save for stuff like AR receivers/forends/scope mounts, etc.

high quality muzzle brakes, suppressors, adjustable stocks like those gucci sniper ones.
billet AK trunnions, particularly folding rear trunnions '74M or 100 series style
>>31646449
You can also build tools for people to assemble AKs with.
You might get away with copying Geissele's (most likely patented) "reaction rod" too.
It's just a shaft splined on the end with a bit of a taper, you jam it in the AR chamber lugs area and then you can apply torque to the barrel, for removing muzzle devices and such.
>>31646449
Suppressors and other muzzle accessories for uncommon firearms would be a good idea.
Maybe you could do some scope mounts for odd guns or something too.

Full giggle revolver.
After you're done you should bring it to your local policeman to show him how good you did.
I'm sure he'll be very proud.

If you have serious CNC stuff, check out all the files at http://www.cncguns.com/ convert the 3d models to work with your CNC equipment and see what you can do.
The website also has like a blog of when someone was machining the parts.
Ranges from a 1911 frame to AR carry handle you can fit your hand through to carry, to Sig P226 frame.
Lots of 3d models if you can iron out the process of translating to your CNC equipment. I know it requires more work than just hitting "go" but I'm sure there's something worthwhile in there.

Make a semi auto belt feed mg42. That would be bad as fuck.
rail mounted ak style rear sight for an ar
people put ghostrings on everything but nobody offers combloc irons
Go on Apex Guns or some other parts kit retailer, look for any kit that doesn't have a commonly available semi-auto reciever in production, and make that. So, Bren L4, Stgw 57 (though that might be stamped, I forget), etc.
Personally, I really want to figure out how to rework a PM63 kit to a pistol/SBR.

Definitive arms stopped selling those, and Canis has a 8+ month backlog and doesn't respond to emails.

Circle 10 mags are expensive. If you made those and respond to emails or at least post updates, I'll buy from you

Make P64 safety/decocker assemblies.
Sell online for $50 each. I'd buy three or four.
Another magical 'machinist' thread. You'll never do anything firearms related and you know it. Enough with this circle jerk
