What could be done with an already sproterized rifle? My friend has a Lee-Enfield that he doesn't want, and I may be able to buy off him.

I was thinking of making an express-style rifle. Basic things I plan to do with it would be to re-finish the stock, and possibly drilling, and tapping it for a scope. The rifle already has it's original sights removed and replaced with a adjustable sporting sight.

The Ruger American is probably a way better base sporter, but maybe OP wants to have this rifle proper sporterized as just a fun project, and he could probably get the Enfield down to 1 MOA with glass-bedding/free-floating and match ammo.

Did you miss the part where it's a .32acp bolt action rifle now. Your suggestion is pretty damn vanilla for "whole hog".

Of he wanted to mod it for Beretta cheeta or Skorpion mags with Buffalo bore hardcast, yeah that would be more interested.
