I'm a freshman in college and my area is VERY SHITTY.
My state allows under 21s to carry a gun in the glovebox of their car, one condition away from fireing.
What would a good car carry gun be that wouldn't break the bank, but is also quality?
Also, are new Sub2ks shit?

Well if it's in your car just get a hi-point.

No shit, this bitch is in college. Therefor most likely poor. Hi-points are surprisingly reliable and if you get one that shits the bed then you can just return it since Hi-Point has the absolute best warranty. If ANYTHING is wrong with your pistol you can turn it back in.
Now I recommend 9mm and HSTs. Yes HST is expensive, but it's the best ammo. The delivery system doesn't matter as much as what you are delivering.

sub 2k is not shit, just make damn sure it's reliable by running through a 300 round break-in period. I've owned a gen-1 which had to be sent in to the shop due to critical reliability problems twice before they sent me a gen 2 which has worked flawlessly.
It's a good carbine if you anticipate getting a Glock when you are of legal age.
The Gen 2 is my secondary HD carbine (after an AR) because of magazine compatibility. prove the reliability before you trust it, anon.

police trade in Glock 17 is your friend, anon. $350 for reliability and everything else you could want if your fundamentals are good enough to translate through awful UI like the trigger and grip angle.

So does harsh language over the internet but its still not a reliable caliber
